  • what transmission are you using?

  • Man I want one of these!

    Nice Car!

  • I'd love to hand build one of these babies out of aluminum sheet. Well done!!

  • what rear end you using mate.

  • hey mate, was this a kit to start off with? Who was the manufacturer?

  • nice cobra, like the screw type s/c on the 1UZ and the white- looks tough and understated. no need for a wild paint job on a wild car :)

  • i dig the jag rearend. love the project man keep up the good work

  • where did you get the super charger from and does it make much difference thanks

    nice build by the way!!!

  • Thanks

Supercharger in the build is an Eaton M90 from a Pontiac. The supercharger has since been swapped out to a Harrop TVS 1900.

Yes it makes a big difference.

  • This gave me a boner!

  • @SpikeRazzor

whew! I thought I was the only one.

  • LOL! It sounds so beastly too, even in my LS400 this motor sounds so beautiful.

  • what sort of power you get ?

  • Very nice!

Awesome build, I like how you did the rear brakes. I have never seen that kind of setup, but it looks very nice.

  • Jaguar XJS V12 powerlock rear end modified.

  • Those are inboard breaks, used to help save unsprung weight

  • Brakes, not "breaks"

  • Im aware of that sir

  • @lexluthor400 dude inboard discs are nothing new but they are kick ass

  • The supercharger is no higher than the normal intake. The front pulley has 20mm clearance.

    Engine mounts are custom fabricated.

    Cheers

  • I'm doing a similar project - looked at an Eaton M90 but thought it would sit too high for the bonnet - did you have to drop the engine mounts?

  • If you can't find the right engine, Improvise.

    Nice idea, mate. :)

  • MY GOSH, THATS A BEAUTYYYY!

WHITEE on a Cobra thats niceee!

    Great Job!

  • The supercharger is an Eaton M90. Superchargr kits are available for the 1uz from several places.

Mine is a mix and match of parts and an ebay supercharger.

Soon to be upgraded to an Eaton TVS 1900.

  • where did you find the 1uzfe supercharger kit? or did you part one together yourself?

  • is that a toyota/lexus V8?

  • Yes its a Toyota / Lexus 1UZFE 4 lt quad cam 32 valve all alloy V8 engine with 6 bolt mains.
