  • @PopCulture20 ....I was not sending you a bio to be NASTY I was sending you some information about her because I myself is a true fan of her music. You wrong about something big time not all Native Americans have nasty attitudes......Your comment was very disrespectful I'm sorry you had a bad azz day or bad experience with Native American people but please do not judge everybody as the same...What you need to do is check the mirror and see who really has issues

  • @carmendecor did you read my post REALLY GOOD? I said I'm NOT going to generalize all Native Americans because EVERY CULTURE CONSIST OF MORONS and don't try and contradict your hostility with a bio just because I called you out in a lie I caught you in because common sense should've told you that if we're both on youtube, then I HAVE INTERNET as well to look up Tracie's bio in which all bios on the internet aren't factual about a known person's cultural background. That's why I asked you

  • @PopCulture20 you're coming off as a real loser ... is the what you were going for here?

  • @BernardProfitendieu have a nice day

  • @BernardProfitendieu ...Thank You.........lol

  • Wow parts of this video resemble Selena Quintanilla's video Amor Prohibido!!! Especially the House Wall! I wonder if it is by the same director.

  • I don't know if it's by the same director. The chair, desert & the walking through the door is very similar.

  • @9thdegreetenor .....Yes, I'm a big fan of Selena yes it do resemble her video....I so agree....

  • @carmendecor ...You do realize this video was done b4 there was a Selena right? So you all must mean that Selena got her video idea from her...and bi the way much respect for her talent...but She was 1st.....

  • @StrugglingActressNGa .....Yup I did know this video was made before Selena and all credit goes to Traci Spencer yessss....The point was did they both have the same director because the back grounds from Selena video seem similar to Traci Spencer video ...

  • wow...the early 90's were magical.

This song had such a wicked beat, I liked it then, and I still like it now.

Pop music sucks so bad now!

  • I absolutely agree...the early 90's WERE magical & so was this song. This brings me right back to the summer before jr. high started. Such a crazy time in one's life but I remember that this song (and the other awesome music of the 90's) was so powerful & really opened my eyes to the world, if that makes sense. God now I feel all nostalgic...

  • The 90s were magical compared to right now partially cause MTV was actually MTV and BET's primary music video show was devoted to music that wasn't just for little kids.

  • Agreed

  • Love this song. I remember listening to it on the radio when it was high on the charts. 80s influence that overlapped into early 90s. I agree with cpiman2009...classic beat, great song.

  • Love this song. Does she look superhot at 44 seconds??? Just beautiful and so talented.

  • OMG I totally forgot about this song. I wa in 11th grade.

  • Classic 90's beat. Great Song

  • I love this artist and joint/jam. what became of Tracy? Peace yall.

  • I've never heard of it.

  • This was my class song in fifth grade back in 91'!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!

  • This song's so def! I heard this when i was 8 and 9 and i danced to this song on the bus and when we had parties in shcool on the last day of school and also the last day of school in summer before the summer holidays we'd be dancing to this song and Kriss Kross!, back in the day there was a cool dance station that played all kinds of funky dance music including this song i so miss the early 90's

  • Classic joint!

Real music w/ a message by Miss Spencer, she still looks very good 2day as well.

  • its weird that she was only 13 lol

  • this song is hot! i was in middle school when this came out.love this song.the 90s were awesome man!

  • I remember hearing this song all the time on the way to and from school, the 90's were the best years of my life. I like the messages in this song, there should be more songs like this I love this song

  • I agree. There's no real substance in today's music now.

  • i was always in love with tracy spencer!!!!!

  • Oh man I love this song. Tracie is the truth, Tender Kisses and Still in my Heart still get heavy rotation!

  • She was 13 when this song came out! Crazy!

  • She was 15 when this song came out. She was 13 when her first CD came out. This was the second single on her second CD Make the Difference.

  • This was always a Fave of mine...I love the Lyrics!

  • cue the RUNNING MAN!!!!

    And LETS HELP THE PEOPLE!!!!

    YES WE CAN!!!!

  • WOW, this song is 18yrs old already??, dang time slips by fast doesnt it?..I feel like this only came out a few yrs ago lol

Thank you so much for the memories!

  • This song brings me memories of the 90s! I love it!

  • This song fits with the new president's philosophy/position... it should be his new theme song.

  • I loved this song. thanks.

  • shes puertorican

  • No she an African-American girl from Waterloo Iowa.

  • Lol........not exactly, have u seen her family? Clearly they are multi-racial.

  • Nada Cherokee ... Spencer family from Central Iowa ... near M'town and T-T ... and that is where she is from ... and we accept her. :)-

  • Yes cherokee. Her mother's maiden name is Broussard and she is from Louisianna and her fathers mother is from Canada

  • she's black.

  • She's mixed, have u ever seen her parents? her mother has caramel colored skin slanted eyes and blondish colored hair and her dad is really light and tall with hair like a native american.....doubt she's got much black in her.

  • Shut the fuck up! what difference does it make? GO TRAAACIE >>GO ON GIRLLL> this song still makes sense wit all the bullshit going on around us these days. MMM MM MMm

  • I love Tracie too, I was only saying that I seen her family with her is all....

  • She was raised in Iowa but her mother is not from there and her fathers parents were not born there....She does have Cherokee blood. A friend of mine went to school with one of her cousins in Louisiana that's how I know.

  • she black.

  • ummm she is cherokee...her mother is brazilian creole and father is half french canadian

  • Tracie's family is Spencer .. and she has never acknowledged it .. but she is Meskwaki .. we accept her.

  • THIS IS STILL A JAM.

  • Does anyone have the dance remix of this video. They used to play it on BET a lot back in the mid-90s.

  • This song should be Barack Obama's theme song!!!!!

  • I agree...Sometimes *change* is the key to a better place

  • I so agree.

  • tracie was one of the greatest singers in the 90's... this is a very great dance song to dance at house party's back in the days... 90's rules big time!!

  • theres a dance mix to this song which is really hot...

  • amazing how people can go back and forth talkin about someone they don't even know. I fu don't have nothin cool to say then don't say nothin and just enjoy the videos an music............LOVE HER, SHE 'S HOT!!!!!!!!!

  • skyfinch u so ignorant i bet she got more money than u

  • Selena's video for Amor Prohibido has this video's vibe to it. She is out in the desert it seems and sits on a chair just like Tracie and goes through a door with no walls. I like this song and love Selena's video.

  • love this song, so many memories of me being a kid

  • confirmed ... Spencers ... Meskwaki ... they are Indian. :)

  • she has been quite busy - u might have heard her sing backing vocals on - 50 Cent, Eve and Kanye West songs. Currently she is on hiatus from music

  • where is she now?

  • she's a model

  • didnt she date sinbad?

  • i used to love tracey!!!! i wonder where she is these days?

  • I use to jam to this joint back in the days. Yes Lawd! Still sounds good, thanks for the video, by the way.. Where is Tracy?

  • Love this song used to have it on cassette.

  • I haven't heard this song or seen the video in ages, yet I always got the chorus stuck in my head every once in a while. Glad I found this so I could see it again.

  • Hello I really like Tracie spencer to whatever happen to her

  • She joined a secrete society of fighters known as F.I.S.T International. She fights regularly in a underground fighting circit under the name Tracey knuckles. I was in a secrete underground octagon in Indonesia when I saw her go up against Mongol the destroyer. PHSYCH. I'm sorry I took you though that. She had a release back in 2000.

  • I always liked the bridge to this song. Brings back memories.

  • i love this song

  • Screw Beyonce, Keyesha Cole, Today's Mary J Bligh. This is real R n B. I miss 1991 baby, I was 10 when this came out. Thanks for posting. She looks good as Sade.

  • I think the Spencer family are part Meskwaki from Iowa.

  • Her dad Marivn is a two timing idiot. I worked with him in a hole in a hole in the wall bar in Waterloo. He always had a red headed woman on the side. I liked his brother and his wife better. They are black and something else because they are all fairly light skinned. Her mother is a true saint for putting up with so much over the years.

  • Good Groove..

  • she was 14 or 15 when she made this a hit. the girl is hot. she was a child prodigy. oldskool anyday for me. these days its all computers

  • i m sorry Beyonce has what??? no Tracie sings betta....Beyonce is an entertainer....

  • AWESOME

  • I love Tracie too,but I can't co-sign that check about her being a better singer than Beyonce or Mary J. She has does have a beautiful voice, almost angelic, however Mary an "B" have pipes & skills!

  • wow does anyone know what tracy spencer is doing now?

  • This One of the Best R n B song ever, I miss early 90s, I was 10 when this song came out. I also love the remix of this song too.

  • One of the most underrated talents of the late eighties and early nineties. She should have been then what the Beyonces, Keyshia Coles, and Rihannas are now. Except with talent.

    Love you, Tracie.

  • Tracie is Way better than Beyonce, Keyshia Cole, Rihannas, New Mary J. - they dont have no rhythm no good beat like Tracie, She needs a comeback badly with new album to save R n B.

  • You don't know what you are talking about. Beyonce can't even write a song. I don't even consider Beyonce an artist. She is an over exploited piece of untalented crap!!

  • Then you marry Beyonce and I'll marry Sade, now THATS A REAL SINGER compared to Tracie. Beyonce is a Bitch anyways for marry an Abuser Jay Z.

  • tracie should stand up from that chair and din it for the people

  • On June 29, 1999, she released with Tracie and found success with the hit singles "It's All About You (Not About Me)" peaking in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 and "Still In My Heart", the latter showcasing her elastic soprano vocals. In the 2000s, she started singing background vocals on Hip-Hop songs for rappers such as Kanye West, 50 Cent, and Eve as well as writing on other artist projects.

  • She made a guest appearance on the hit ABC sitcom, Family Matters in 1993 and recorded the song "I'll Be There for You" for the 1997 film, Good Burger, "The Rain" for "A Smile Like Yours" starring Lauren Holly and Greg Kinnear, "Down In The Delta", and "Girlfight" starring Michelle Rodriquez.

  • I need to thank God every day that I been around good RnB back then...including for have the 12" House version for this awesome tune, super cool!....does anyone about that issue?

  • great song..I love the melody and beat..but the lyrics are the bomb..very true!!! : )

  • hey I go to Columbus! I never knew she went there!

  • best track by miss Spencer! old skool only have finest R&B tunes, the beat was much better than today! T4P!!!

  • lmao...

  • I almost forgot about Tracy Spencer. She had a nice voice. I use to like her version of "Imagine". I wonder if anyone has that video.

  • Tracie Spencer's version of "Imagine" is

    the best ever recorded. Brackenri

  • Oldy but goody-the video don't match up with the music.

  • are you an idiot? listen to to the lyrics the song is about the plight of the native americans! i am half indian (i think tracie is too)and i love the song and video,it matches perfectly

  • She's mix race

  • Tracie is probably black, white, and indian, just like me. I love being mixed. I love this song it has a good message.

  • @tiseytise ...Hey I found some info on Tracie Monique Spencer (born July 12, 1978) is an American multiracial pop/R&B singer. She released her self-tited debut album when she was 11. Her biggest hits were "This House" and "Tender Kisses", both of which were released from her sophomore album, Make the Difference.
