  • Shockofgod does not listen to reason. Just like playing chess with a pigeon. No matter how good you are at chess, the pigeon is going to knock over the pieces, crap on the board and strut around like it's victorious.

  • @dragonsder Hard evidence as in God coming in human form saying here I am, it's me God. I can do things only Giod can do and day only things God would say.

  • @dragonsder Something has to have hard evidence to be valid?

  • Atheism and Theism both make exclusive truth claims. Agnositicism is the neutral cognitive position. Atheism - (noun) - the belief that God does not exist. 2010 Oxford University Press. Agnostic is also a noun and not and not and adjective.

  • The FACT That You Put So Much Emphasis On EVERY Word With 5 Letters or More, Shows Everyone That You Are Just A Complete Moron. And Secondly, ShockofGod would Smash you're Brainless Skull on a Curb In a Debate with You. As would Anyone With a 3rd Grade I.Q.. Good Luck on your Journey to try to sound smart!

  • shockofgod is another youtube pussy that likes to block anyone that does not agree with him.

He talks about the fruits of ones works. He, being a coward and a poser.

  • I have to say Sub4Jesus you have no idea what you are talking about.

  • Shockofgod's position seems to be: until we prove that we don't believe God exists, atheism is null and void. We're only atheists because the existence of God hasn't been proven.

  • Lol How clever Peter is

  • consider this: If I am Christian, and I am wrong about religion, I will go through some ridicule in my lifetime, but when i'm dead i will be gone and will never feel the regret of being wrong. But if I am atheist, and I am wrong about religion, I will never deal with the minor burdens that come with being Christian, but when I die, I will never get a second chance, and will be trapped in torment FOREVER.

  • @MrPersonMan123

The bible calls heaven eternal bliss. I dont care how blissful it is, its eternal. You'll get used to it, then you'll be FUCKING BORED. - Jim Jeffries

  • @OzFurBluEngineer yeah cuz hell sure sounds great

  • @MrPersonMan123 Nah man, the bibles got it all wrong. Its all about PARTIES, the "Eternal fire" and shit are all BONFIRES on the ETERNAL beach, and all this "torment" in hell bullshit? Nah, you just don't know multiple orgasms when you hear them from heaven, it IS screaming, but its the good kind ;)

  • @MrPersonMan123 You speak as though if Christianity was the only religion out there. By the way, Pascal's Wager has been refuted so many times already that it gets old. Point is, you can be Christian and still be wrong.

  • @MrPersonMan123

You are looking at religion as though it were binary. There are a lot more religions out there besides christianity. For instance, Muslims believe that Christians and Jews go to hell. You are also assuming that of all the religions in the world, any of them have it right. Its just as possible that god is actually a banana that eternally torments christians. It isn't plausible, but neither is your god. Pascal's wager = fail

  • @dragonsder How could God be a banana? A banana has to have the potential to be eaten for it to be logically coherent. If you could eat God that then that doesnt make it God but simply a banana that you have labeled God.

  • @johhnycarlos

sigh, you missed my point entirely. I doubt you even did me the courtesy of reading my entire comment. What I said was that pascals wager doesn't make sense because it assumes either Christian or Atheist. In reality, there are limitless possibilities concerning the supernatural because there is no hard evidence for any claims about it.

  • your a freakin idiot

  • @mp4624

He providing an evidence is idiotic but believing in a book written by goat herders is not?

  • Even Christians should shake their head when they watch shockofgod's videos..

  • As a former avid motorcyclist, never did I ever have a wish for a fellow biker to crash .... until I came across that schmockofgod freak!

  • Derrr Derrr shockofgod wins flawless victory derr derrr.

Prove the Bible was written by god without using the bible.

  • smart man, you make me feel stupid

  • My question is, how is it that if I type "shockofgod" in Youtube search this video (anti-shockofgod) comes up first?

I know quite a alot about search algorithms, but it seems that the Atheist nonsense has priority. Or is it because Youtube is the new church for Atheism?

  • @logicCplusplus it has the most views

  • @JOSH3SiX

Possibly, look at apatrick0516's comment as well as my latest reply to apatrick0516.

  • @logicCplusplus Because when you use the search bar, it searches for video titles. I don't think many of shock's videos have it in the title, but a lot of responses do.

  • @apatrick0516

You're right that could be the explanation. However, I am still skeptical (maybe hyperskeptical, but in light of the left-wing media control, highly probable) of Youtube search algorithm manipulation (such as injecting additional options based on categories, tags etc... in order to achieve bias), I find Atheist related videos have quite a bit of priority. If you're right then its good evidence Youtube is a legit church of Atheism.

  • @all of you. Children and small kids definitely have faith. You had faith in your parents when you're young, you didn't think twice about things. You didn't see dinner in the table, but you knew it would be there. You guys all are deceived and your pride holds you back, trust me I know. I use to be a bigger atheist than you. Take into the thought of earth and everything...where did it come from. And don't you dare say science, that everything exploded out of nothing. Your ignorance is bliss. Th

  • @HolyGhostFlame Do you expect people to believe you simply because you were an atheist before? The only argument you provide in your comment is an appeal to ignorance: "where did it come from". We don't know, but that doesn't mean that there is a God.

  • @this guy below me with the weird name. You obviously don't know what faith is. It does not take faith when it's right in front of your face!! Haha! Faith is the evidence of things not yet seen. Though you have not seen, you believe...that is faith. I've never seen the great wall of china, yet I believe it's there. That's faith. In fact, since we are creation, the creator is programmed in our hearts. We are taught Gods not real.

  • @HolyGhostFlame So you're saying God is a shitty programmer?

  • @HolyGhostFlame no, people are born atheist, they have to be taught religion

  • @mandrillx Would not agnositicism be the default position? If we are all born atheist then its not necessarily a belief but a pyschological mentallity. Technically a potato is an atheist right?

  • @tooltime9901 first off, well done on your usage of large words and a mouthful of the English language! I applaud you sir. But secondly I would ask you check your pride at the door. It is your pride that holds back your belief. And I must correct you, the default level isn't unbelief...the default level is quite in fact solid faith so firm that there is no doubt. But society corrupts our innocence and turns us into our very sinful selves. Why is it, do you think, that so many do turn to God? We

  • @1123359 Name one archaeological evidence of Jesus. Just one.

  • what the fuck is teen wolf doing on here talking nonsense?

  • @JuggaloDebo If you think this video is nonsense you're a moron, seriously .

  • @1123359 What is this evidence?

  • It most states it is illegal to drive a car or ride a bike while talking on a phone...making youtube videos while riding a bike may not be a good idea

  • i think that people like shockofgod actually helps others who might have grown up in a religious place, but are not sure what to think about everything they hear people say, to go "wait, this makes absolutely no sense" and make them start to think and figgure things out for them selves.

because surely, only people who are as brainwashed as him would watch one of his videos and not see anything wrong with them, but nothing can change their minds anyway.

or am i beeing too optimistic?

  • @skoda10 No you are not being too optimistic, in fact most Christians, on youtube at least, are very much against what SOG is doing. He has very little support and mostly he is benefiting the atheist cause because he is just so incredibly repugnant. He is one of the worst people on youtube today.

  • I am curious foo YOU beleive in God?

  • shockofgod is a pathetic nutcase fundie of exceptionally low intelligence

  • Hahaha of course there is good evidence that there is a creator. The mere fact that there is a creation and complex organisms in that creation is REASON enough to believe that there is a God. The fact is God is alive i've seen him at work and he loves each and every one of us whether you choose to beleive it or not. Believe in Christ for he will judge the world.

  • @titogoose ROTFLMFAO!!!!

  • The proof that your name is peter would be your birth certificate...

  • Havent watched any of his vids yet, ill have to check one out and let you guys know what i come up with...

  • well done man, i agree

  • Atheist or Believer. Anyone who takes Shockofgod seriously is profoundly stupid.

  • This shock guy is terrible. I watch a 25 minute video of him on his motorcycle, tried to pick some arguments from his disjointed rambling, and then wrote a long reply; only to find out that he blocks comments like a coward. He should be ashamed.

  • @Logicftw He sent me a message on my page and than I responded politely and he just said "beep beep" and then blocked me. He is a fucking asshole and total douche.

  • @Logicftw He doesn't even allow comments now.I think it's because he says so much ridiculous shit that is so easy to challenge. he doesn't want called out.He asked for evidence that Atheism is true? He is the one that has to prove existence of something you can't ask someone to prove something they don't believe in is bullshit. He has to prove it's not.The burden of proof lies in the believer.

  • Shocking Brainded COWARD

  • @ShockOfDog proof your god does not exist, well just read the bible.

  • @Bornofbadger Read his name.

  • @211TheDude :-) I did, I just figured the way people where answering him, he was theist. lol

  • @ShockOfDog Go back to the bronze age please

  • @ShockOfDog You don't have any true evidence about a God existing. I could say the same thing about religion (that it is madness), but am choosing not to do so.

  • "Phylisophical simpletonims." Nice.

  • Lol illiterates like athiests everywhere you go. This is the age of idiocy. But i digress.

  • ROFL. Awesome vid. Hilarious and true.

  • @ShockOfDog Atheism is simply a position on a single assertion (that a god exists), i.e. sufficient evidence hasn't been provided to justify the theist claim. Generally speaking, there's no atheist asservation that a god does not exist period, only the aforementioned claim that the evidence for a belief in a god is insufficient. The default position is not that you have to disprove every outrageous statement made, the burden of proof is on the one making the claim, and that is not the atheists.

  • @ShockOfDog not more then christianity

  • You need an haircut

  • i agree with your general sentiment, but i think you concede shockofgod's point by saying that asking for evidence for a belief is foolish. wouldn't it be better to simply point out that atheism is not a belief, and thus is making no claims needing to be proven?? if asking for evidence for a belief is foolish, then the rejection of a belief based on a lack of evidence would be just as foolish.

i'm an atheist by the way and just wanted to share my thoughts.

  • The question is a valid question. You either have proof or evidence that atheism is accurate and correct, or you don't have proof or evidence that atheism is accurate and correct.

  • @megamaster125 If I told you I had a basketball with all the autographs of the Harlem Globetrotters on it, but I refused to ever show it to you, would you believe me? If no, then what proof & evidence would you have that your disbelief of my claim is accurate & correct?

The burden of proof is on someone making a claim, not the person who does not accept it; Christianity claims a God exists, Atheists don't accept this claim, but SoG tries to shift the burden of proof to make Atheists look foolish

  • wow my whole page is filled with linked comments

  • Simple as it is. I dont believe in something unless it is proven to be true, personal experience aside (atleast that ONE person alone :P )

Proof of, "not believing" or "lack of belief" to be correct, in God is quite silly. "Why dont you believe in a God?" would be FAR more honest inquiry. Christian would most certainly have lack of believe/not believe in the Hindu Gods. Why is that lack of believe accurate and correct? :) Circle circle... ^^

  • @thalonen gtfo of youtube you fuck

  • @SSwildfire no :-) Jesus loves you!

  • Assuming that GOD exists and created everything - we would have to accept that GOD was incomprehensibly intelligent. Can you honestly believe that such an intelligent being would take an interest in a comparatively *unintelligent* lifeform?

Imagine you were a 1000 times more intelligent than you are now and you created a set of single cell organisms. Are you saying you'd be fascinated by how they moved/interacted with one another? You'd find that sufficiently stimulating and exciting?

  • Atheism is irrational. There's more than enough proof that the Bible is true and that God exists. You just have to look, it's not hard.

  • @oscarmarin1995 No, there is no proof. Christianity has been incased in titanium. You cant break through it.

"There is a being that created the Earth" (which we dont know anything about how the Earth was made) "that you cannot see, touch, feel, hear, taste, smell, or sense in any way."

This is a statement that cannot be proven true or false, because it describes something that cannot be acessed or known about by humans.

Stop acting like it is possible for a being like that to have any proof.

  • @Thegamerguy101 Well there's proof in the Bible.

  • @oscarmarin1995 GRRGGGGGHDHDBLPGFBOTRK^GYO$E%YR%UHHTUFJON%RHJKY%OTIGG

    UGHHHH.

    *Facepalm, facepalm, facepalm*

You can't prove the Bible is true by saying, "There's truth in the Bible!"

It doesnt make sense! You can't fucking prove the Bible with itself!!!!

  • @Thegamerguy101 Well, there's historical, scientific, archaological, measuremental and divine inspiration as proof.

  • @oscarmarin1995 I repeat:

    *Facepalm, facepalm, facepalm*

I don't doubt that many things in the Bible are true. However, the 'fact' that God created the Earth is scientifically impossible. Although I would like for you to explain, "archaological, measuremental and divine inspiration" as you put it.

  • @Thegamerguy101 bibleevidencesdotcom/archeology , thefirmamentdotorg

You should study genesis before you start assuming that the universe just poofed into existence by God. godandsciencedotcom

And divine inspiration is proved by the many prophecies that came true and were 100% accurate. Israel was a strong nation and it is again today. There's alot of other prophecies look on jesus-is-saviordotcom for more.

  • @oscarmarin1995 I dont care how he came to be. It is still scientifically impossible for there to be a being that cannot be seen, felt, touched, heard, smelled, or sensed in any way!

Or, if you can somehow find some type of evidence for that to be possible on a slim chance, then it would still be impossible for us mere humans to know about it. If it is too complex for every one of our human senses, then it is too complex for humans to even begin to understand, so please stop acting like you do.

  • @Thegamerguy101 Well, God isn't limited to our earthly standards, and I didn't say i know the whole creation... Just what the Bible says

  • @oscarmarin1995 But why would a creature so extroardinary make a book. A simple book. After making THE ENTIRE FUCKING UNIVERSE he would make something so trivial as a book.

And why, if God made the ENTIRE FUCKING UNIVERSE would he only put life on one planet? Only support life for one small, insignifigant little ball of dirt supporting small ignorant little creatures? Why not try to make creatures that can at least begin to understand his existence?

I dont know.... God sounds kinda weird... :P

  • @Thegamerguy101 Why don't you try to find that out?

God made us in his image. It's that simple, who knows, maybe there are aliens, but I really doubt it, because aliens are demons. Satan and corruption has made us ignorant to truth, satan is a master deceiver. But we can understand from what the Bible says. The Bible has everything we need to know to get through this world. When we die, we will probly understand much more

"I dont know.... God sounds kinda weird... :P" Well, you don't understand

  • @oscarmarin1995

"God made us in his image. It's that simple"

Wow, really? Why did GOD create disabled and mentally ill people? Does the Bible provide any revelation as to why millions of people around the world are born into utterly shitty lives. Come on, religious folk claim to know the mind of GOD....you must have an answer for this? Or is it one of those 'point in the air' and 'only GOD knows' type bullshit answers?

  • @oscarmarin1995

"who knows, maybe there are aliens, but I really doubt it, because aliens are demons"

When I consider the sheer scale of our solar system, our galaxy and the 100's of billions of galaxies that make up the universe.... then I would say, statistically speaking, the probability of alien life is very high. Aliens are not demons....the Bible doesn't even make a reference to Aliens. Where are you getting your misinformation from?

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS It's not misinformation, the Bible said there would be false prophets, teachers and religions. One of those is New Age religion. They believe aliens are to help us, when actually they aren't to be trusted, they are demons I'm 100% sure of that. Do some research on them, even UFO researchers say they are demonic. You are assuming that there could be life. How do you know there is? Is there anyplace that could sustain life like earth? I really doubt it, and we would know by now

  • @oscarmarin1995 there is billions and billions of planets throughout the universe there could be millions that sustain life that we have not found

  • @dillon564 Athiests are into Science Fiction now? You watch too much Star-trek?

  • @gloinstron i have never watch star trek just saying its stupid to assume that since we have not found a planet like earth yet means that all other planets cant sustain life

  • "I now believe that the universe was brought into existence by an infinite Intelligence. I believe that this universe’s intricate laws manifest what scientists have called the Mind of God. I believe that life and reproduction originate in a divine Source. Why do I believe this, given that I expounded and defended atheism for more than a half century? The short answer is this: this is the world picture, as I see it, that has emerged from modern science."- Antony Flew, Former Athiest. You mad?

  • @gloinstrong well that is great that he thinks that but i have my own opinion and i think it make no sense that something so powerful can come out of nowhere and create something as complex as the whole universe plus

if this god is invisible and no one can see him how did they form a religion were people back in the day so gullible that they believed in some invisible untouchable being that lives in the sky

  • Comment removed

  • @dillon564 What does that prove?

  • @Thegamerguy101 "However, the "fact" that God created the Earth is scientifically impossible". Are you insane?

  • @gloinstrong No, you are.

A being that cannot be sensed in any way is scientifically impossible. End of story.

Think of it this way. You're saying that the Bible is true because it says so in the Bible.

Again, I just answer with *facepalm*

If I say I'm a spotted purple dinosaur who lives on Mars, then it has to be true, because I said so! WRONGGGGG!!!

Yet you're believing the same exact thing, except from a book.

    Why?

  • @Thegamerguy101 exactly

  • Shock of god got owned.

  • I'm a theist.

    Not atheist... A Theist.

    :D

  • Shockofgod is an idiot.. he has his points of view and just DENIES other ppl opinions. well we can't proof god doesnt exist and neither can he proof god exists. he's just feeding a stupid war between christians and atheists.

  • He blocked my comment earlier. what a coward..

  • @MrTabasco67 If you make a comment that doesn't support him in any way, he will delete your comment, and block you.

But one thing I'm noticing that he does more and more is he responds to your comment saying something like "Thanks for agreeing with me!", then will proceed to remove your comment, making it seem like you originally said something was in agreement.

He's a slimy toad who gives creationists a bad name.

  • Masturbating.

Christians/Theists see it as a sin.

Atheists see it as a hobby.

  • Shock is nothing but a coward, he wont let ratings or comments on his videos

  • @405OklahomaBrewing He will debate you, just ask him

  • @oscarmarin1995

Actually, it's not a debate. It's ''provoke every rational Youtuber and run away''.

  • @405OklahomaBrewing He wont let comments because ppl like you would troll his videos with bullshit.

  • @1222norman aw you beat me..all well

  • @1222norman he wont allow freedom of speech because he a hypocrite fundie who refuses to listen opinions that differ from his and true christians style refuses to listen to let alone accept facts!

  • Very well put my friend. Btw you look like Jesus.

    J/K =D

  • I honestly don't believe that shockofgod was ever Atheist that became Christian. He probably is just saying that so that way he can grab more followers. The way he speaks against Atheism makes him sound more like he as always been religious.

  • @Ginx3230 Is there proof for your assumptions?

  • @Ginx3230 Exactly. No Atheist could EVER be so stupid and uninformed. Kind of pathetic to be honest

  • @Ginx3230 Yea, I agree. I've always thought that if he used to be an atheist and is now a Christian he would be more sympathetic towards atheists. He would know what its like and wouldn't attack them so vehemently. But, Shock is a bigot and an idiot and nothing he says should be taking seriously by atheists or Christians for that matter.

  • Yes, I was blocked by Shockofgod. Shock keeps saying he's won every debate he's been in, which I have seen none. I was also not at all surprised to be banned as I see virtually all opposite perspectives are absent., as almost all theists do on youtube.

  • "what proof and evidence do you have that atheism is acurate and correct?"

    just say MODERN SCIENCE

  • Shockofogd, a former atheist, probably never understood it very well to begin with. The fact that he would ask such an incoherent question just proves his stupidity and immaturity in regards to theological debates. That dumbfuck should stop taking the offensive and take the defense when he gets challenged by an atheist; then we can see if he fuckin knows anything at all.

  • I like the way you put it. The atheist view is perfectly rational.

  • I can name plenty of things that would be compelling evidence for the existence of a god. Perhaps we should ask, What would qualify as compelling evidence for the lack of god? But, then, that would be lowering ourselves to their level. In no other field of investigation has anyone been required to demonstrate something's "lack of existence." If something didn't exist, well, what evidence would there be, other than the fact that it simply ISN'T THERE?

  • What's sad is that I've seen William Lane Craig use a version of this same question while debating Christopher Hitchens. And Craig is considered an intellectual Christian apologist. Apparently the problem is worse than we think if someone can share the stage with Christopher Hitchens and bring such blatantly flawed questions.

  • atheism is an ideology so his question is legitimate.

  • @thegeniushasreturned A thousand nos to that statement...I don't understand why, when I proclaim that I don't beilieve in God due to a lack of evidence, that I'm suddently believing in something else. Atheism is nothing more than a label, at best a community of like minded people, describing one's rejection of all modern and standing God claims as unsupported and illogical. Ideologies are central to politics, of which belief in God has little relevance. The question stands as incoherent.

  • @NativeAlternative an ideology is a set of beliefs a certain sect of people share.

atheism goes along with chance. If there is no god everything is chance, therefore your ideology lacks proof.

  • @thegeniushasreturned

that is the worst argument i have ever seen.

  • @thegeniushasreturned What ideology? It means you don't believe in God. That's it. It means that I don't believe in a supernatural intelligent being who created and rules the universe. Perhaps your disbelief in leprechauns is an ideology as well. Can you prove they don't exist?

  • @backwoodsninja atheism:

    1. god does not exist.

    2. everything formed by chance.

    it stands as an ideology.

we can prove a leprechaun does not exist on earth because the proof we would find if it did exist.

  • @thegeniushasreturned How do we know leprechauns aren't just masters of evading detection? If they are supposedly supernatural beings they would be perfectly capable of remaining unseen, leaving no evidence behind....kind of similar to how no God or Gods have ever left any evidence of their existance, no?

There is NO ideology or set of ideas that all atheists adhere to. I don't know about everyone else here but I don't think the Universe or life were formed by chance, but that's irrelevant.

  • @NativeAlternative a leprechaun is a midget who wears green?

a human being no matter how talented leaves traces.

A god or a creator is a spiritual being who is beyond human intellect. If god exists we would not expect to find traces of his presence but rather his laws or ability demonstrated on the universe.

  • @thegeniushasreturned Actually it's ironic that Leprechauns are thought to have Irish devine ancestry. Our understanding of leprechauns could be completely wrong though. They, along with their gold could turn invisible any time they are within human eye sight, or they may have the ability to erase minds.

Just like with God, we don't believe in the utomost certainty that they don't exist, however its the lack of demonstrable and varfiable evidence that makes us reject the claims that they do.

  • @NativeAlternative the ability to go invisible is not a human one, if you claim it is magic, then we have evidence against it. If you claim it is a spiritual being, then they wouldn't be leprechauns but spirits.

again evidence for a god would be in fine tuning, and the improbability of it arising with chance.

  • @thegeniushasreturned I'd like to go over this proposition that all atheists believe the Universe and life came to be by chance. Personally I think chance does play a part, but only in the specifics of the current state of existance. But as a I mentioned, this is irrelevant as atheists are not required to make any assumptions of how the Universe was created. Whether we believe it was natural or by leprechaun like beings this is seperate from the rejection of certain or all surviving God claims.

  • @NativeAlternative not just the universe, atheist believe everything is the result of chance.

i don't see why it's so hard to grasp, if there's no creator everything is chance.

  • @thegeniushasreturned "Everything formed by chance" is not essential to atheism. I don't claim any knowledge on how the universe formed, beyond what is already scientifically supported. Interesting thoughts on the leprechauns. I say the same thing about a god or gods. If a god did exist, I think it would be evident and we wouldn't be having this conversation.

  • @backwoodsninja when you take a creator out of the equation you also add in everything that happened is a result of unguided forces. (chance)

there is evidence for a creator, evidence is also interpreted different by different people. We all share the same pool of evidence.

  • @thegeniushasreturned How the universe formed would be a matter of scientific investigation. It would have nothing to do with anyone's ideology. Either we know or we don't. Either the answer is right or it's wrong.

  • @backwoodsninja atheism shares the same concept of how the universe formed.

Every single atheist believes the universe is chance. If you know one who thinks otherwise then explain.

  • @thegeniushasreturned I don't know how the universe came to be beyond what science is able to ascertain. Nor would I be so arrogant as to claim knowledge that no human being has. I've yet to see any evidence for a god. What god-believers tend to call evidence amounts to speculation. "Something's here so it must be created by someone." Not true. Rocks do not come from the rock factory. Trees are not built by a tree-maker. They happen as a result of natural forces.

  • @backwoodsninja natural forces bring things into existence by chance.

  • @thegeniushasreturned I think this record's scratched : /

The problem since the begining of these exchanges is you make assumptions. In no Irish folklore were Leprechauns described as human (as I told you they are supposed to have descended from pre-christian deities), but to leave that ridiculous debate alone chance in itself is not an explanation. As I also said chance does play a part but only in the specific conidtions that are met, on its own it doesn't lead to the Big Bang, evolution etc.

  • @NativeAlternative specific conditions being met are chance, the big bang was chance, and evolution is also chance, even with natural selection.

  • @thegeniushasreturned Fair enough. But we KNOW that natural forces bring things into being. Trees, rocks, stars, etc. Not once have we seen something created out of nothing by supernatural means. We're talking about looking at the natural world and drawing conclusions based on evidence. If you want to call that an ideology, go right ahead.

  • @backwoodsninja well not trees but i'll agree with you on rocks. However when you look into it isn't there always an unexplained beginning, such as matter to make up the rock.

now that we can call it an ideology the next question is where is the proof for this ideology?

  • @thegeniushasreturned "Proof" belongs in the realm of mathematics and logic. I think what you are asking for is evidence. Similar to your leprechaun response, if there were a god, we could reasonably expect evidence of a god's presence. An unexplained beginning does not justify postulating a super-being that created everything. If you make a claim (God exists), I don't need evidence to justify disbelieving your claim. You must provide evidence to justify said claim.

  • @backwoodsninja so the answer is none.

  • @thegeniushasreturned Yes. You are correct. There is no evidence for the lack of existence of a supernatural being that watches our every move and our every thought.

  • @thegeniushasreturned If "fine-tuning" is your evidence, that's pretty shoddy. That's like saying, the universe looks like a god designed it. Well, what would a godless universe look like? That's just egocentric thinking. "We are here, therefore the universe was all designed just for us."

  • @backwoodsninja There are only two theories a creator and chance. Only one has to be proven improbable.

  • @tooltime9901 I have a question for Shockofgod: How does he know that Christianity and the bible are correct, and not Hinduism and the Vedas, or Buddhism and the Tripitaka, or Islam and the Koran?

  • omg i hate shock of god as much as anybody but you really didnt prove any points yourself!

  • Hey shockofgod maybe you should go back to grade school and learn something :D you cant even make a good question LOLZ stop being a troll... if my spelling is wrong tell me cause im not good in spelling :P

  • I am not atheist. I have no proof of what I believe in. I am quite content and in fact, like atheist more than I do the full on believers because they are hypocrites. Not only do they practice intolerance, condemnation, judgement, and generally cannot be spoken to, but the pose in admissibly erroneous and arguably some of the worst stated questions with just as bad "evidence" to go with them. Atheist's tolerate me. Atheists accept me. Atheist's don't judge me. They are humane :) God bless!
