All Criss is doing is following in the footsteps of Harry Houdini. If Houdini had been in that studio, I bet he would have done pretty much the same thing Criss did. Many other modern day illusionists also make a point of exposing supposed mediums, Penn and Teller being another example.

All people have psychic ability, it is just that 99.9999999 percent deny themselves of it. When a mother's heart start pounding and thought of their child, it is most likely something went wrong with your child. It is said that these abilities can be honed, but I don't know how true it is, and if it is, it can only be because that person agreed to it and believes they possess that ability. Maybe Uri thought he had the ability and therefore agreed to scientific experiment.
