@nocturne163 this anime/manga is being read and watched by adults (me being one college aged) I wouldn't recommend this anime/manga for anyone underage 16yr old. This story is very tragic, very dark and too many different levels of emotions to comprehend. I get that you do, but there are many who do not. I find this whole OTS very beautiful (minus the j-pop,) but yet heartwretching.

Yes , i do agree , though some younger youths could be able , to understand this surely .

It IS a very thoughtful and even tragic story , not a love story to me , like some try to suggest , more about faith and passion .

@nocturne163 Ditto on the quasi non-existant "love story". The only time there is somewhat of a romance is between Ciel& Lizzie. Well even though he doesn't want to be betrothed to her, he still cares for her deeply and he can't seem to get close to her like he did before his trauma. Their relationship is based on that struggle to get back to what was once a happy one. Which we all know will end in silent tears.

Yes, surely the relationship between Sebastian and Ciel is quite close ,

but not in a romantic way , but getting deep and sensitive .

Lizzie is a cute and faithful young girl indeed , it's really touching to see , how she's at Ciel's side through all the struggle ...

The proceeding version; マダム・レッドの思い出に~2リコリスの色 (i.e. the next track) is entitled "In Memory of Madam Red - part 2, The Colour of Liquorice". In the anime itself, these two tracks are used predominantly for scenes involving Madam Red's past/death.

The next track, "The Colour of Licorice," is when Ciel arrives at her funeral with a red dress and rose petals.
