I got the button to show up in VB8 but I have a lot less propertie options and Style is not one of them so I can't have a cool button like you'rs. Also the name for the button is not UserButtonz1 its AxUserButtonz1. I don't know its the same file from the link =/

ok put the .ocx file wherever then open vb6 add components and then browse for it

if you dont move it from where it is it will stay in the components

INSTRUCTIONS:

drag the glxpbuttonz.ocx onto the regsvr32

open up your components menu in visual basic

select glxpbuttonz

click apply

my problem, is error registering it.

that's why the movie is titled "custom button tutorial" It isn't the original vb6 button. That button in the video is an active X control which I have the link for in the video. If you're watching this video you should be advanced enough as a computer user to know how to register activeX control's...

goto c:\WINDOWS\system32, then find a file called regsvr32 and drag the glxpbuttonz.ocx and drop it onto regsvr32

actually, if you just read the README file, I tell you exactly how to do it, and I sent the regsvr32 with it, so you should just read the README...I didn't send it to make it look official, it actually helps to read it
