  • Brilliantly bad film and Henry Mancini never did pen a bad tune

  • Love the music in this movie!

  • that was one bushy lady. guess they didn't have brazilian wax back then...

  • @jqdsilva

I like pussy anyway i do weither it's hairy or shaved, i would chow down on that hair snatch.

  • @TheAnabolicMutation

You know what i mean by sparklng right? what if the vampiress met Edward Cullen?

  • @TheAnabolicMutation

Do you like how these aliens are the ancestors to the vampires/zombies/succubi of legend? they don't have fangs or suck blood like regular vampires they suck energy/youth/souls instead of blood and are similar to traditional vampires. It also has a good moral that saying that vampires did in fact exist throughout time but instead of being the undead they were aliens and you glad because they are different doesn't mean they sparkle?

  • i really wish I could find this movie and the soundtrack.

  • @CalebDor the movie is on youtube..

  • @CalebDor You can get LIfeForce on DVD I bought it via Amazon a few years back I'm sure it's still available & I found the soundtrack on CD about 10 plus years ago on Varese Saraband CD's..every bit as good as in the film!

  • @MrTevB

does this movie remind you of The Keep (1983) and Buck Roger's space vampire episode? same energy sucking vampires.

  • @Johnlindsey289

I've not seen "The Keep" but I have seen its trailer & YES I recall the Buck Rogers space vampire episode specially when poor Wilma (Erin Grey) is vampirised and she coos 'Yesssss it felt soooo good.." I have to admit me & my brother cracked up laughing at that part. The LifeForce music is BRILL!.

  • @MrTevB

Do you think Lifeforce is a unique and fresh take on vampire, succubus and zombie lores? do you like the idea in this movie that the aliens and their victims are the ancestors and sources to the vampires, succubi and zombies of legends and myths? very original idea and sounds similar to what those Vampirella comics were to vampire lore. Notice how these vampires have no fangs and don't suck blood? and just because they are different, doesn't mean they sparkle.

  • @MrTevB You can get it on DVD if you seriously search for it (online) but it's not formatted for a 16:9 television. Oddly, it was one of the first MGM DVD's ever made and, today, you can't get it on Blu. Sell the rights to it, MGM! Let Criterion do a clean up!

  • @cromwellian13 Indeed!I bought it on DVD a few years back from Amazon...brilliant widescreen international version which differs a tad from the cinematic version I've seen on VHS years ago.The DVD is identical to the LaserDisc of this film I bought way back in the mid 1990's...

  • Spectacular! Now that's Cinematic.

  • @kezadrone

Do you think this movie is a unique and interesting take on the vampire myth?
