I do not understand what wearing these relics does. My own weapons/armour is much more effective. Also, I'm not the Arch-Mage and have that robe. What's the good of it? I didn't even level up! Does anyone know what good the ring is for? While I'm at it can anyone tell me the most effective ring you have is and where you got it? Mine is the ring of light and (not going to spell this correctly) Agies ring so far. I get so frustrated not knowing the little things. lol Thanks Ob for sharing

I've got a really important question before starting a new character:

Once you've completed the KotN questline, you get acces to their 9 semi-permanent blessing (they stay active until you activate another one). However, are you able to use these blessing with a fair amount of Infamy (like 50 or whatever)?

to wear the armor again you have to pray at all the shrines it shows on the map the guy givees you at the begining of the quest.

@elvensbane Hey Elven. I see this was awhile ago for you but if you remember could you explain what the point is to pray at the alters inside a church is for? I don't get that or getting the blessings at the various round/white templelike places is for either. My son put this on my computer so no manuel. Nice people put these up though. @Songsmirth The ones within the churches are useless, all the ones that you need to pray at to get "blessed" or "repent" or what ever it said you needed to do to get back into the crusaders armor are scattered across the planes. If you feel like cheating, there was a mod on TESNEXUS that made unscripted armor / unenchanted so you can wear it with 10000 infamy and enchant it with your own spells. Looks like it got removed, i'm contacting the original uploader for a copy. i'll pm you if you want.

ok i killed a guard and it says i have to repent my crimes to be able to wear it againand i prayed at the chedyinhal chapel and priory of the nine chapel and it still wont let me use it what do i do please help.

if you have to do that then go pray at every alter not the 1ns in town but the 1ns outside of it there is a quest for it but i cant remember it has something to do with the crazy guy its a quest to pray at every alter= pain in the ASS!

if your infamy rises to one while wearing the armor, it will unwield itself. Which is a real pain in the ass for stealth based characters such as myself. Also on the class selection thing at the beggining of the game, there is a crusader option. This armor was built around that class.

It will. The more you level up, the more stronger your weapons and armor increase in strength.

to everyone asking, Knights of the Nine is a small expansion pack which you can download from the official Oblivion site. It costs 9.90$.

You get to keep the armor, but you cannot use it if you gain 2 or more infamy.

If this happens you will have to complete the pilgrimage again (OR, if you are lazy, use the console (for PC) and type "setpcinfamy 0". This will set your infamy at 0 and enable you to wear the Crusader's Relics again.)

Take a Pilgrimage which takes 1 hour remember the whole Pilgrimage thing you had to take to be part of the nine? Well do that again then you should get it back.

im in a room with a staircase and at the top is a pressure pad and a box, in the box was radgar's hammer. when i steped on the pad one of the many statues light up with the simbol of a skull. i tried to activate the statue but it did not work. what do i do?

you first find that one dude with the curse. talk to him bla bla bla. than you go upstairs pray to the thing in the middle of the church, and you will get a spell. use the spell on the dude with the curse, and after all of that you can pick up the gauntlets. :)

Crusader armour will be light if your good with light or heavy if yor good wth heay armour when you start pilgramage

Actually, it changes from heavy armor to light armor if your heavy armor or light armor is higher in level. So if I start off with heavy armor, and my light armor surpasses it, I can put it back on the shrine and then it will become light armor.

They're both from Shivering isles, become the duke of Dementia, and you get the golden armor, the duke of Mania, and you get a black (bad looking) armor.

The blade she had at the start is a powerfully enchanted blade that turns into 4 other blades depending if you kill enough in one day.. You get it from a group of adventurers that you have the choice of killing, or making them go crazy, but you get it anyways.
