Modern Warfare 2 was the last game that the developers wanted to make. Black ops and MW3 were made because Activision likes money a lot. They were probably told from day god damn one when the game was coming out and whatever they had done was being shipped.

Dude, I hate MW3 too, and I fucking love it at the same time. So, either Infinity Ward just hates PS3, or Microsoft payed the fucking company to release the game that way. Anyways, if they fix the Lag Compensation systems and the spawns, MW3 could be one of the best CoD's out there, because like MW2 was, it's a change from the other Call of Duty games, and it's a change for the good in my opinion. I'm confident they will patch this things and make it run smooth in both consoles.

Second would be the original creators of the CoD, West and Zampella. Those guys invented and revolutionized CoD, then Activision fired them and it all went shit creek afterwards. Hell, I didn't even feel the satisfaction that Makarov died. The hype just wasn't that good as its predecessors...
MW3 for me is like all fps I've played, sometimes i get pissed at it and sometimes i have fun. My annoyance is derived from me trying to have a good kd since when i first got into it i was god awful. But imo its only the first month so for now its just a learning curve. As for support, i just got a 360 2 days ago and playing MW3 on that though takes getting use to, is more responsive and you can tell they are doing more for that which is unfair.
I don't have any issues with modern warfare 3 unless I play alone. When I'm alone it just isn't fun at all, but when I'm with a party I absolutely LOVE it. But it shouldn't be that I have to be in a party to have fun. Also, if developers would develop the game based on the PS3 version, no one would play the XBOX version.

mw3 isn't mw2 enough, maybe because it had everything that we know today in COD....from scavenger to the BEAUTIFUL graphics. i'm with you it just doesn't feel like COD anymore. mw2 was like COD 4 on LSD and then they got all this hype up around BO and mw3 being masterpieces.....they made people too excited for it and it just didn't meet expectations. :(

I think the reason mw2 has a better feel is due to the maps. Mw2 maps have decent spawns and a certain flow to them that mw3 maps lack. Mw3 maps are just made up of piles of jumbled up shit so they have no flow. It's like black ops where instead of having the feeling of a battle, it's just people running around like their head is cut off.
I don't like BF3 because I'm a fanboy, I like it because through my experience with both games, it simply provides me with a significantly better experience. I can admit BF3 isn't perfect, but it's largely things that I KNOW DICE is working on. MW3 is poor not because of fixable glitches or bugs, but rather by design. Poor maps, inconsistent weapon handling, shoddy connection, and the list goes on. So call me a fanboy if you want, but I've come to my own conclusions based on my playing both.

I play on xbox and to be honest I hate the game aswell. I hate the way IW makes games, they help noobs so much with death streaks, PP90 and UMP are OP, there are noobtubes and commando knifing is INSANE. Treyarch makes games for skilled COD players that buy the game each year. And even tho I dont enjoy MW3 Im still like 4kd on it.

i think, you need to be on a gb team! good player. but yea i think mw3 they made too compact... too close quarters. they balanced it out and thats what makes you not shine anymore. we just like the originals
MW2: Spawns not as shitty, not too much problem with cold-blooded, better/ more open maps, NO LAG SPIKES.
MW3: Matchmaking is good (not getting thrown back in the same lobby that you quit in), cycling killstreaks/ ability to choose which killstreaks to use.

btw...are you still playing Bf3....cause that game is awesome....it may not have the spark of CoD but i have never had problems with it.....there are never overpowered guns to stupid spawns or glitches....so i just wanted to know if you were going to release content on it
I know what you mean man...I will light up somebody, then get killed...then watch the killcam and it shows me not even getting off a shot. I think it might all even out because it prob happens to everybody playing...same with the shitty spawns, gets you easy kills and gets you killed easily sometimes....but it still sucks balls.

Dude, don't worry about it, I hate MW3 too, most of the weapons kill in like 1 or 2 shots, it has got the same shit as MW2, although, I must say, I do like kill confirmed, but that is ALL.. Black Ops is still my favorite COD, the least BS out of every game
I totally understand what you mean when I'm not on a perfect connection in MW3 I will get like 10 hitmarkers the guy turns round and kills me in 2 bullets I watch the killcam and I shot once and his screen wasn't even red in MW2 I could be on a 2 bar and get 20 kills easy

Hey Kr4hu, I know you are primarily a PS3 guy, but have you considered selling MW3 and getting the 360 version? I know you shouldn't have to and it sucks that it's pretty unplayable on your favorite platform, but isn't one of the benefits of owning both consoles having the best of both worlds? Just a thought.
Game is all about connection I cant tell how many times Ive lost gun fights or just straight missed knifes for no reason other than lag and connection problems. Also I agree with the statement about guys turning around and killing you somehow after putting a mag into them. Basically the game has forced me to camp and not play the balls to the wall game play. And sniping in my opinion has also become a joke. Its very inconsistent to me and I wish it were anything like the intervention from MW2
Its okay, man, one of my friend is a huge call of duty fan, was super hyped for it and now, he had a hard time admitting it, but he really dislikes the game. something about the maps and the flow of the game, but still, you are being honest, and thats the important.
MW3 is just flawed in general, the lag issue is not only PS3 I'm experiencing the same issue on Xbox 360. What makes matters worse is if your a 3 bar connection it feels like 2 and is horrible since the guns are all balanced your more likely to lose a gun fight with someone on a 4 bar connection.
I have to agree with you Kr4hu, at first mw3 was pretty fun, but it started to feel repetitive and boring at like level 50 for me, it's not as fun as I hoped it would be.
I don't have a ps3 yet till Christmas and I'm gettin mw3.. I have been hearing about the lag. For some reason mw3 feels.... Dried up to me. I played it at my friends house and not feelin it at all.. I think once they try to patch everything it will be playable... I'm waiting till some mappacks come out..
Big ass Elephant in the Room: STOPPING POWER. All of the most enjoyable Call of Duty games have this simple little thing. I don't know why it was ever taken out. Just think about what happened first in Black Ops. I personally was very dissapointed that Infinity Ward decided to make that decision too for MW3

MW2 had a charm, as you said, I can't describe it, but MW3 is stale. I play on PC and MW3 doesn't have lag issues, but there's something about the maps and the feel of the game that turn me off, MW2 was a joy during its hype period.

mw3 is CoD's last stand (pun not intended), the series is pretty much doomed now since there is pretty much nothing else you can perfect about the cod formula, treyarch has to change the formula or the series is dead.

Since it is also a game it cannot be too realistic to the point where it is not fun. In BF3 you get to at least fly a jet or helicopter rather than take out a Remote, which you press a button on, and then you are magically teleported into an aircraft from which you proceed to kill people with.

I don't like BF3 because I'm a fanboy, I like it because through my experience with both games, it simply provides me with a significantly better experience. I can admit BF3 isn't perfect, but it's largely things that I KNOW DICE is working on. MW3 is poor not because of fixable glitches or bugs, but rather by design. Poor maps, inconsistent weapon handling, shoddy connection, and the list goes on. So call me a fanboy if you want, but I've come to my own conclusions based on my playing both.

FUCKING UAV AND STEALTH BOMBER SPAM. You were right about the shit spawns, I keep getting spawned right under predators, right by enemies, and under air strikes -:( I'm pretty much done with the Call of Duty series. Every year since after CoD 4 I was hoping for a better game. But every damn time the series grew worse and worse (we all know the problems, the major ones being online server and game support). I play on xbox and to be honest I hate the game aswell. I hate the way IW makes games, they help noobs so much with death streaks, PP90 and UMP are OP, there are noobtubes and commando knifing is INSANE. Treyarch makes games for skilled COD players that buy the game each year. And even tho I dont enjoy MW3 Im still like 4kd on it.

MW2: Spawns not as shitty, not too much problem with cold-blooded, better/ more open maps, NO LAG SPIKES.
MW3: Matchmaking is good (not getting thrown back in the same lobby that you quit in), cycling killstreaks/ ability to choose which killstreaks to use.

I know what you mean man...I will light up somebody, then get killed...then watch the killcam and it shows me not even getting off a shot. I think it might all even out because it prob happens to everybody playing...same with the shitty spawns, gets you easy kills and gets you killed easily sometimes....but it still sucks balls.

Hey Kr4hu, I know you are primarily a PS3 guy, but have you considered selling MW3 and getting the 360 version? I know you shouldn't have to and it sucks that it's pretty unplayable on your favorite platform, but isn't one of the benefits of owning both consoles having the best of both worlds? Just a thought.

Game is all about connection I cant tell how many times Ive lost gun fights or just straight missed knifes for no reason other than lag and connection problems. Also I agree with the statement about guys turning around and killing you somehow after putting a mag into them. Basically the game has forced me to camp and not play the balls to the wall game play. And sniping in my opinion has also become a joke. Its very inconsistent to me and I wish it were anything like the intervention from MW2

MW3 is just flawed in general, the lag issue is not only PS3 I'm experiencing the same issue on Xbox 360. What makes matters worse is if your a 3 bar connection it feels like 2 and is horrible since the guns are all balanced your more likely to lose a gun fight with someone on a 4 bar connection.

I don't have a ps3 yet till Christmas and I'm gettin mw3.. I have been hearing about the lag. For some reason mw3 feels.... Dried up to me. I played it at my friends house and not feelin it at all.. I think once they try to patch everything it will be playable... I'm waiting till some mappacks come out..

Big ass Elephant in the Room: STOPPING POWER. All of the most enjoyable Call of Duty games have this simple little thing. I don't know why it was ever taken out. Just think about what happened first in Black Ops. I personally was very dissapointed that Infinity Ward decided to make that decision too for MW3

MW2 had a charm, as you said, I can't describe it, but MW3 is stale. I play on PC and MW3 doesn't have lag issues, but there's something about the maps and the feel of the game that turn me off, MW2 was a joy during its hype period.

I think the reason why people hate on mw3 is because of the lag and the fact that they really didn't change anything from mw2. @couchpotater1000 Wow you are dumb. When people say it is realistic they mean that it is arguably one of the most realistic FPS games on the market at the moment. Since it is also a game it cannot be too realistic to the point where it is not fun. In BF3 you get to at least fly a jet or helicopter rather than take out a Remote, which you press a button on, and then you are magically teleported into an aircraft from which you proceed to kill people with.
