Ok people here`s the deal. Japan is a tiny country for the amount of people that live within their borders. Most of the land is zoned either for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes. That being said, there is very little set aside for agricultural farmland, and whatever is left may not be suitable for growing crops ( not productive, unfertile, ect, ect). So what can they do to feed their country. Take what`s already there. They don`t have to import expensive food when whales are there

Ok people here`s the deal. Japan is a tiny country for the amount of people that live within their borders. Most of the land is zoned either for residential, commercial, or industrial purposes. That being said, there is very little set aside for agricultural farmland, and whatever is left may not be suitable for growing crops ( not productive, unfertile, ect, ect). So what can they do to feed their country. Take what`s already there. They don`t have to import expensive food when whales are there

@8alih Before you go calling people dumb bints, I do realize the conditions which animals live in slaughterhouses and farms which are meant to kill animals and solely have a purpose of feeding humans, which makes me extremely sad. I know that dolphin fishing would be a tradition, moreso than a need, and it is just sad to see people killing these creatures for no reason. I agree, the conditions for slaughter houses are horrible, but the only way it is justified is because they are domesticated.

Dolphins and Whales have an extremely low population before long they will be endangered. the animals we eat to do and we raise them on farms to be eaten. we don't herd them and trap them then stab them over and over until they bleed to death. the japanese are wrong and care nothing about anything other then themselves.( not all of them just the hunters)
