@brooklynyte4ever Thank you. That's great news. It's so sad when you hear children suffering, let alone adults. I will have to tell my fiancée about that great bit of info. I began taking vinegar detox baths rt before I go to bed. I'm hoping that it will help reduce the inflammation/pain. I had a very rough yr battling Breast Cancer: 6 mos. of chemo, surgeries, combined w/all the meds...& I just began my 2nd fight w/Lyme Disease. Tough to keep the skin clear. Hey, best of luck to you & your son~

There is a product that eradicates Psoriasis and other skin diseases it is from the aiam. Check it out the medication is FDA approved and the product works. Why you mostly have not heard of it is due to the major pharmaceutical companies not wanting you to know about it. They would rather have you treated time and time again than to eradicate it. If it doesn't come back then how do they get paid. Also why would your dermatologist tell you about it humm lets think.

i'm 14 and i found out i had psoriasis a year a go. I have it almost on my entire body, and i have to say, its been a living hell handling with this condition. My self-esteem is taking magure damage by this and it is really depressing! Everyday i have to get up in the morning, but on clothes that cover all af my body and put tons of makeup on my face. Just so people wont ask or stare.
i read alot of comments and it seems like, being happy and not stressing , and eating right and aloe vera has the best outcome, (without using prescribed drugs or cream) smokers tend to have more chance to develop psoriasis which heavily affects the immune system, right now ima make blueberry juice ( which has alot of antioxidants) and try to get some sun ( vitamin e) and try not to stress so much.. just be positive and things should come out more positive =]

My mom has it now and then and so i think thats why i do...
At my age right now its a real confidence downer. I feel like shit man....
if anyone has any tips or that can they please share? Thanks
How many hours a day do you sleep. I ask, cause I found that by sleeping an average of 10 hours a day I wouldn't get flare ups. I'm up @ 6am it's hard going to bed and falling asleep @ 8pm every night but when I do it helps. You must to stick to a bed time. Your body finds 45% of every day in complete rest helpful "longtrem" I was 15 when i got it now 39. There are other treatments out there depending on your severity. Stay away from cortisone and all profiteers.
Thanks for the advice man... i dont have a great sleeping pattern seen as iv been on my summer holidays so il try and get 10 hours a night. Wouldnt mind telling me what cortisone and profiteers are would you?
Cortisone shots or cream are the first thing doctors like to throw at Psoriasis, it actually cause it to flare up worse. Profiteers are the people asking for money/donations for a cure, stay way from them. Do some research Psoriasis Foundation is a great place for that. Psoriasis is a Auto immune deficiency where you white blood/t-cells go hay wire and attack your skin cells which happens to be the largest organ in your body. some times diet and rest can sideline the symptoms but not cure it.
yah having psoriasis is a bitch its like being born wit out arms and crap it sucks but then being born wit out arms woud suck more but yah i got cream and shit for my psoriasis
For those who has psoriasis for a long time. First vitaplus can cure psoriasis. First Vita Plus is PREVENTIVE in nature and the presence of micronutrients, fibers, vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and anti-oxidants ensure that the body is well-protected against sickness or diseases, that the immune system is strengthened by the unique and powerful combination of the five herbs and that the wellness, wholeness and balance of the body are maintained.
really wish there was a cure......I'm so sick of having it......had it since I was 16 and no one else in my family has it. Hope I don't pass it on to my 1 year old daughter
i had psoraisis...it jus popped up like nothin and when i had the treatment for it, it popped up again 3 months later but now its alright as long as i dont drink any alcohol or eat any seafood...sucks man
iv just spent the last three weeks in hospital! coal tar applyed every day and UV light treatment mon-friday.. my doctor smiled and told me i havnt got psoriasis anymore! its just red marks left on the areas where i had psoriasis she told me the redness will be gone in a week or so im so happy its finally gone although i still have it on my scalp.. i know how hard it is having this so im here if anyone needs to talk or i can recommend some treatments if you like take care everyone Aoife, Ireland
your psoriasis will always be there...it's just gone for the time being. if you don't keep up with a proper diet it will come back. get allergy tested you might be allergic to certain foods. trust me ive had it my whole life and i have gotten treatments for it, nothing is permanent.
well my name is justin, I am 13 and I got psoriasis out of the blue when during my 11th year... i hate it.. it is on my head.. on my scalp. and there are so many retards who assume its dandruff.... im in middle school i dont want to be called "dandruff danny" i want to live my life. but i cant. i hate when people stare too i just feel like telling them to take a picture it will last longer or punch em in the face..
I'm 34, had it 14yrs now...tried everything...creams, UVA, PUVA, Oral immunosupressants, and a couple of different injections...Now taking Enbrel injections and have been for a couple of years. It keeps me clear everywhere except for my scalp which has never been 100% clear unfortunately! If anyone knows where to buy "pentrax" shampoo, please let me know...it works the best, but can't find it anymore!
Please anyone that wants to help report your own treatments here stationary only one at a time so we can single out a real effective treatment, and dont post your injection or medication treatments because we all know if they really cured it then we'd all know about it already lol and we'd be all over it like Psoriasis >.> k that was horrible joke but still we know that stuff will mask infections with huge side effects and that its not an effective cure. its a moneymaker.
What we all need to do is stay away from those false cures, and try to discuss real effective home cures here where there isnt money influence. my idea seems simple enough all my Psoriasis is on the skin that sees the least amount of sunlight. I will try different methods of UV exposure and report my results back here and move onto the next idea. note is that this has been tried before WITH the use of other treatments and has both worked and failed.
I will be testing UV exposure, (an already proven method for treating minor Psoriasis) in larger doses now that its getting closer to spring, and I will post the results. Until then try to find a non profit treatment over the net people these fat cats and the FDA arent going to allow a real cure in pill or injection form and we all know this. They make their money and they keep their secrets it may be fucked up but its true, they've done it with herpes and they've done it with other diseases.
Ok im a 20 year old male, ive sat here and thought about everything or anything that I may have changed since ive started breaking out with minor Psoriasis behind the ears, on my scalp and on my elbows and one foot. I dont drink milk and I don't take prescription medications anymore, althought the cause may have been prozac the only other thing that I have changed at all in the past 2ish years is my sunlight exposure. Think about it? All the spots I have it are spots that dont get much sunlight.
im a 17 year old girl i have psoriasis on my legs, arms, stomach, back, scalp and even a bit on my face.. im getting used to it at this stage but the past two weeks clumps and clumps of my hair has been falling out.. im terrified.. i have a few bald patches and the hair is just coming out if i even touch it.. iv never been so down.. does anyone know why this is happening my hair?
The stuff I listed above used to be sold at your local pharmacy but for some reason all of them stopped selling it about 2 years ago. Luckily you can still buy it on the internet. Do not fall for the coal tar substitution. It is smelly and is only about half as effictive.
Try MG 217 Sal-Acid Ointment with Vitamin E. This stuff ranges from about $6.00 a jar. It does not cure psoriasis but once it is applied let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. Now you can scrape off the flakes but they will be almost in a gel form and it makes it so soft you wont bleed when scraping. Also try a shampoo cal Sebulux. This stuff is better than that smelly coal tar crappy shampoo. It has sort of a minty smell but it softens the scales so they are easily removed if you have it on scalp.
Hello Psoriasis can be cured with First Vita Plus natural health drink. A health drink that comes naturally from vegetables. A lot of people were cured and has been spreading the news about this amazing product. Let me be an instrument of hope. God bless
I am currently dealing with Psoriasis myself. It is very depressing not being able to show off your skin like I want too. It messes with my confidence as well it is weird. I never had this before in my life. Mine occured back in 2007. But, I plan to cure this so my skin can turn back to normal. Are there any over the counter creams you guess recommend. I have Clobetasol prescribed to me and it helps other than that I just keep my skin oiled down with Petroleum Jelly.
Well, it's tough to say which is the best over the counter product. Best are thicker creams 'cause they trap moisture & keep it in your skin the longest. I'm a big fan of aloe vera. A Swedish study has shown that topical 0.5% aloe vera cream dramatically improved psoriasis symptoms in 83% of participants. Speaking of petroleum jelly, my oldest sister has been using that underneath her eyes for the past 20 years. She doesn't have any wrinkles. So that product must trap in alot of moisture.
i know what you are all going through because i had this psoriasis forever but there is something called remacaide that works its a IV that they put in you and after a few treatments with the remacaide its amazing it goes away 100% the only down side is if you don't have health insurance the treatment is over 4,000 dollars but look up remacaide on you tube and they will tell you all about it i would recamend it for any one that has psoriasis
yeah i got this crap to pretty bad, i did use raptiva, but it almost gave lukemia and im scared of all that injection stuff, i got really sick too with it, topicals for me dont seem to help much, so have you heard of any new information through groups or somthing like that?? thanks brother
Ive had it forever and I just started making my own colloidal silver for about a week now and its helping a lot. let me know if this helps anyone or if you have questions k?!
Hey there SonyaRose... I like that you used some humor in this.. it's a heavy subject... my oldest brother has psoriasis and I remember how it was for him socially growing up... he used humor to get through it... or toughness when he had too... I should also mention that he drank carrot juice and this reduced the affected areas. It was a old remedy that my great uncle had suggested... and ... I remember it worked! All the best, Wa11ace.
Well, I tried to convey those traits in my Psoriasis Cure Now videos: toughness, humor, hope. Whatever it takes to get by. Interesting you should say carrot juice. I used to have a juicer & it took an entire bag of carrots to make one small glass of juice! Easier to buy carrot juice at the market today! I hear if you drink it 2 weeks before you go out in the sun, surf or ski or hanging at the beach, you'll get a nice glow ... Someone told me that the sun and saltwater helped his skin condition.
im only 16 and ive had psoraisis for 5 years now and i agree, its very self-esteem degrading, it started as a single patch at the edge of my hairline by my forhead now its almost covered my entire forehead and spread to my upper arms shoulders and back and small almost about the same size as the eraser at the end of a pencil around my neck and ears, since im so young ppl my age dont usually grasp the concept of what i have, so i neglect to mention unless they ask... its depressing for me
Well, hang in there; as you get older people seem to sympathize more, are more understanding, not so judgemental. I'm sure sometimes you want to shout out at the world. My friend who has psoriasis shaved his head & uses a Topical Solution 0.05 % (Fougera Clobetasol Propionate) at least once daily to affected areas on his head & Ointment 0.05% (Clobetasol Propionate) on his body. It helps~
I've got is as well. Scalp, ears, upper arms and starting to creep down to my belly button. Yeah, it sucks not being able to wear dark color clothes since I stick to whites/khakis to make the flakes seem less visible. But I deal with it. I try and live a normal a life as possible, even though it affects my self esteem, theres nothing you can do about it, you know?
So, I just live with it. The itchiness, scratching and bleeding in the hopes that one day, not too far way, a cure will be found.
Well, yeah ... but, try to keep in mind the majority of the world has self-esteem issues as in: not good looking enough, not smart enough, not talented enough, just not enough ... not enough money to correct this health condition for good. It's been around since 35 AD and most likely beyond that. What we need more than self-esteem is hope, faith, a little love. So, I still remain hopeful...Hang in there~
Take a look at Dr. John O.A. Pagano's book: Healing Pshoriasis ISBN0-9628847-0-7:Softcover I used this and it works. This is not just a treatment, it is a cure! I don't know why people don't know about this. Please tell someone with psoriasis, people like me that did not know what to do until they found this book.
Thanks; I will check it out. My friend's folks both have psoriasis and he grew up with it as well. I really feel his pain; he cannot afford medicine all the time. But, even so, it never has gone away. It's very frustrating.
Ye i had this happen to me mate but, i used this shampoo called Oilatum, theres 2 versions, a bath version and shampoo version, i used bath 1 every night and shampoo one every other night and all the patches on my head went and most did on my body :D
Great video. I found that Lovostatin medication along with Singulair helps. The Cetaphil lotions and cleanser work. They have them at Walmart. Good luck. Please get your triglyceride reading tested. IT may have something to do with that.
I've had this mysterious scalp itch problem for over 15 years, doctors and dermatologists don't even know what is causing it. They say it's not a fungus and not a bacterial thing, and it's not a virus. I've tried everything. One last think I am trying is giving up coffee, not just caffiene because I think there is something in coffee other than caffien causing it, also the same with cake. I'll share my findings if anyone has a similar problem. Not sure if it's the same as Psoriasis or not???
Ok, some of these so called "cures" are really wacked...juice of a lime? walnuts? Gut problem? please...you people are VERY misinformed. There is NO cure for it, and it is in your immune system. Research before you think you have a cure...funny how scientists have been working on this for decades, and yet dont have a cure, but you people do? Not.
as a matter of fact this is a leaking gut problem.Prove me wrong.Medication is an industry and I am sure all those smart people know this but still promote their products as if it is a skin problem. You are right, there is no cure but somehow after suffering for 15 years my skin turned normal within three days
when i tried a few steps to stop the gut leak. Many people who keep in touch with me on utube have similar result.prove me wrong
the gut is like a sponge. if there is too much fluid it will leak. To stop (Not cure)Psorisis, you need to keep the gut dry ie drink less fluid.(your lips should feel dry)Avoid anything that undermine the gut eg coffe, beer, coke, chillie ect. Concentrate on products good for the gut eg eat lots and lots of apples. Finally stop eating foods which you may be allergic to eg Wheat, Milk , ect. Put it to the test- in three days the psorisis will disappear
peel a black walnut and rub the inside of nut to the effected area. Wear rubber gloves let dry ,there will be some staining ,take a shower and wash area with a sponge it works for me
Conducting a study aimed which if goes to plan should show substantial improvements in psoriasis. I have posted some initial photographs before and after 2 months using Inclined Bed Therapy Google: "andrew k fletcher" Need more people willing to help this research.
Rub it with crushed garlic and olive oil. Then don't scratch, instead wash it with soap and warm water. Change your bedshits often. Also your towels. Do not share towels with anybody.
I like the thtoughline of the commercial, very "slice of life" However, for continuity, the childsnapshots & the insert of the couuple on the beach the color's are diffferent. Looks like different kinds of footage & I find myself asking is this supposed to be the narrator or are these images narrating his story?
Thanks everyone. The actor who has psoriasis in the video and did the V/O was sick. It was painful as his head was bouncing, ears ringing more so off the hook (formerly in a band). So, I'm really happy that it worked out yesterday and going for a good cause, getting the message out in a light-hearted way. He'll appreciate the wonderful piece of news, your comments ... I do, too! All my very best~
Thanks for the comment on my Psoriasis video. Your entry is informative and kept my attention...I did have a little trouble understanding a word or two. Otherwise very professionally made. Good luck.

My mom has it now and then and so i think thats why i do...
At my age right now its a real confidence downer. I feel like shit man....
if anyone has any tips or that can they please share? Thanks
iCrytex 2 years ago
How many hours a day do you sleep. I ask, cause I found that by sleeping an average of 10 hours a day I wouldn't get flare ups. I'm up @ 6am it's hard going to bed and falling asleep @ 8pm every night but when I do it helps. You must to stick to a bed time. Your body finds 45% of every day in complete rest helpful "longtrem" I was 15 when i got it now 39. There are other treatments out there depending on your severity. Stay away from cortisone and all profiteers.
kkingm 2 years ago
Thanks for the advice man... i dont have a great sleeping pattern seen as iv been on my summer holidays so il try and get 10 hours a night. Wouldnt mind telling me what cortisone and profiteers are would you?
Thanks again.
iCrytex 2 years ago
Cortisone shots or cream are the first thing doctors like to throw at Psoriasis, it actually cause it to flare up worse. Profiteers are the people asking for money/donations for a cure, stay way from them. Do some research Psoriasis Foundation is a great place for that. Psoriasis is a Auto immune deficiency where you white blood/t-cells go hay wire and attack your skin cells which happens to be the largest organ in your body. some times diet and rest can sideline the symptoms but not cure it.

I have found a cure to psoriasis
> You need to purchase Isopropyl Rubbing Alcohol, cotton balls and Polytopic Antibiotic Ointment
> Wet the cotton balls with the alcohol and rub onto your red psoriasis to clean the area thoroughly
> Wet the cotton balls at least 3 times to clean the area.
> Then rub some polytopic ointment on the redness.
> I usually do this in the morning and at bedtime.
> My psoriasis has disappeared.

your psoriasis will always be there...it's just gone for the time being. if you don't keep up with a proper diet it will come back. get allergy tested you might be allergic to certain foods. trust me ive had it my whole life and i have gotten treatments for it, nothing is permanent.

Lochsaw5 3 years ago
What we all need to do is stay away from those false cures, and try to discuss real effective home cures here where there isnt money influence. my idea seems simple enough all my Psoriasis is on the skin that sees the least amount of sunlight. I will try different methods of UV exposure and report my results back here and move onto the next idea. note is that this has been tried before WITH the use of other treatments and has both worked and failed.
Lochsaw5 3 years ago
I will be testing UV exposure, (an already proven method for treating minor Psoriasis) in larger doses now that its getting closer to spring, and I will post the results. Until then try to find a non profit treatment over the net people these fat cats and the FDA arent going to allow a real cure in pill or injection form and we all know this. They make their money and they keep their secrets it may be fucked up but its true, they've done it with herpes and they've done it with other diseases.
Lochsaw5 3 years ago
Ok im a 20 year old male, ive sat here and thought about everything or anything that I may have changed since ive started breaking out with minor Psoriasis behind the ears, on my scalp and on my elbows and one foot. I dont drink milk and I don't take prescription medications anymore, althought the cause may have been prozac the only other thing that I have changed at all in the past 2ish years is my sunlight exposure. Think about it? All the spots I have it are spots that dont get much sunlight.

The stuff I listed above used to be sold at your local pharmacy but for some reason all of them stopped selling it about 2 years ago. Luckily you can still buy it on the internet. Do not fall for the coal tar substitution. It is smelly and is only about half as effictive.
GenXer68 3 years ago
Try MG 217 Sal-Acid Ointment with Vitamin E. This stuff ranges from about $6.00 a jar. It does not cure psoriasis but once it is applied let it sit for about 15-20 minutes. Now you can scrape off the flakes but they will be almost in a gel form and it makes it so soft you wont bleed when scraping. Also try a shampoo cal Sebulux. This stuff is better than that smelly coal tar crappy shampoo. It has sort of a minty smell but it softens the scales so they are easily removed if you have it on scalp.

RedSexyVirgo21 3 years ago
Well, it's tough to say which is the best over the counter product. Best are thicker creams 'cause they trap moisture & keep it in your skin the longest. I'm a big fan of aloe vera. A Swedish study has shown that topical 0.5% aloe vera cream dramatically improved psoriasis symptoms in 83% of participants. Speaking of petroleum jelly, my oldest sister has been using that underneath her eyes for the past 20 years. She doesn't have any wrinkles. So that product must trap in alot of moisture.

BearWa11ace 3 years ago
Well, I tried to convey those traits in my Psoriasis Cure Now videos: toughness, humor, hope. Whatever it takes to get by. Interesting you should say carrot juice. I used to have a juicer & it took an entire bag of carrots to make one small glass of juice! Easier to buy carrot juice at the market today! I hear if you drink it 2 weeks before you go out in the sun, surf or ski or hanging at the beach, you'll get a nice glow ... Someone told me that the sun and saltwater helped his skin condition.

im only 16 and ive had psoraisis for 5 years now and i agree, its very self-esteem degrading, it started as a single patch at the edge of my hairline by my forhead now its almost covered my entire forehead and spread to my upper arms shoulders and back and small almost about the same size as the eraser at the end of a pencil around my neck and ears, since im so young ppl my age dont usually grasp the concept of what i have, so i neglect to mention unless they ask... its depressing for me
bryceisaG 3 years ago
Well, hang in there; as you get older people seem to sympathize more, are more understanding, not so judgemental. I'm sure sometimes you want to shout out at the world. My friend who has psoriasis shaved his head & uses a Topical Solution 0.05 % (Fougera Clobetasol Propionate) at least once daily to affected areas on his head & Ointment 0.05% (Clobetasol Propionate) on his body. It helps~
sonyarose8 3 years ago
I've got is as well. Scalp, ears, upper arms and starting to creep down to my belly button. Yeah, it sucks not being able to wear dark color clothes since I stick to whites/khakis to make the flakes seem less visible. But I deal with it. I try and live a normal a life as possible, even though it affects my self esteem, theres nothing you can do about it, you know?
So, I just live with it. The itchiness, scratching and bleeding in the hopes that one day, not too far way, a cure will be found.
bigkalabaw 3 years ago

Not sure if it's the same as Psoriasis or not???

the real problem is not the skin but a leaking gut. Stop the leak and your skin will
return to normal within days
petrajohn2 4 years ago
Ok, some of these so called "cures" are really wacked...juice of a lime? walnuts? Gut problem? please...you people are VERY misinformed. There is NO cure for it, and it is in your immune system. Research before you think you have a cure...funny how scientists have been working on this for decades, and yet dont have a cure, but you people do? Not.
mzprfkt 4 years ago
as a matter of fact this is a leaking gut problem.Prove me wrong.Medication is an industry and I am sure all those smart people know this but still promote their products as if it is a skin problem. You are right, there is no cure but somehow after suffering for 15 years my skin turned normal within three days
when i tried a few steps to stop the gut leak. Many people who keep in touch with me on utube have similar result.prove me wrong
petrajohn2 4 years ago
How do you stop the leaking gut problem?
I got psoriasis for 5 year.
santos1251 3 years ago
the gut is like a sponge. if there is too much fluid it will leak. Put it to the test- in three days the psorisis will disappear

petrajohn2 4 years ago
if you know of a cure why don't you post it?
lifelongfriendjeff 4 years ago
1. it is NOT a skin problem. It is a gut problem.
2. Avoid all medication. Some "medication" promote psoriasis for industral reasons and profit.
3. keep gut "dry". Avoid fluids(which you may think will help the skin moist).Avoid coffe, tea, beer, milk products, acid foods.
4. keep skin moist using thin layer of petrolium jelly only
5.get rid of body waste as soon as you have eaten a big enough meal
6. there is a delayed reaction. However the methods
above the results are immediate
