@thekooj , come on, as great as he was, Duane is dead for 40 years now. Warren is the only one who could fill his footsteps and he does better than that!
I have seen these guys 3 times in a week. I basically ditched college so i could see them. One of the best experiences of my life. There sound is amazing. If it weren't for Gov't Mule and Derek Trucks, I would still be listening to 60's and 70's classic rock all the time.
you need to be at a show close to the front and centered in the venue for the full sound & visual experience ..... these guys have been blowin my mind since 1996 when I saw them play to 50 people and tear the FUCKIN ROOF OFF THE JOINT ... you tube is just a teaser ... go find and download the full german tv rockpalast show if you can't see em live this month ..... thank you warren for your dedication and spirit to rock n roll !!!
I just started listening to GM just today and MAN!!!!!! what a great band!!!! I never knew they existed. I am so addicted to this live performance. Such a break of all the mainstream crap that radio stations force feed you everyday. They got such a good tone.
This is very soulful! He's smooth on that guitar and has a great voice for these types of songs! The band is tight! Thank You for this great sounding video.

One thing I'm always disappointed about GM is that everything you here is live and not recorded very well. Full of distortion etc.
And I don't want to hear that crap about the experience of hearing it live... that's not the way bands sound when you're there.
Actually, this has about the best mix and recording of anything I've heard.
But GM is strong strong strong!
