just one more question how thick of walnut did you use 1/2 or 3/4? thanks im making mine out of tiger maple that i had left over from another project i made it sure is a nice looking box
which type of wood did you use, is this actually made from scrap wood? Could you possibly give instructions on how to make the poker box please? Very beautiful :)

The Top has about 1/2" overhang on three sides. The back of the top is flush to the back of the box.
