I like the early years of the empire, because you get to mix clones and stormtroopers, AT-ATs with AT-TEs etc and even make up your own storyline that doesn't conflict with a movie..maybe a book, but I don't think the star wars canon police will come and get you or anything.

@lambonspit They are not part of the Rebuplic! The AT-AT were made by the Empire!! But it don't matter. And the Fambaas are part of the Gungun Grand Army to make their sheilds ( it shows on episode 1). Then again, it doesn't matter. Nice army anyways!!

@tyler10welch they were used in jabiim where ARC trooper alpha and obi-wan was captured by ventress. the battle was a huge deafeat for the republic because a simple land mine would disable the legs of the AT-AT, with the clone in it. several jedi died too. this was when anakin was still a padawan .

AT-AT was part of the republic. Its a common misconception that the AT-At's are only used in the Empire era, but they were first roadtested in the clone wars, and this led to the AT-TE becoming redundant!!! Bet you didn't know that!!!!!
