My poor music teacher persevered with the music curriculum like a missionart amongst the savage heathens, amid unforgivable vulgarities, unremitting sexist commentaries and truculent non cooperation, she istroduced us to the wonders of music such as this. The second movement was always my favorite, and then Zoltan Kodallys 'song'. The music won us over in the end. I bought everything she ever played for us. Impossible to exagerate how it enhanced my life. Thanks is so small a word.
Exquisite. So beautiful. If there was just one of the "great" composers I could meet, it would be Bizet. Maybe in heaven.

The most beautiful movement!

The only Bizet I'd heard until recently was Carmen, then I heard this on our classical station and it blew me away - so beautiful!

The quality of the second oboe coming from the first @ 1:20 almost seems like a different instrument all together

at least the mistake fits, like he had an intro

Nice except for the flubbed first entrance in the horn section...

@avrstrt my first thought (and i instantly rewinded): if a conductor looks like that on such an entrance, it must go wrong :-) NEVER WATCH THE HORNS!

very good first oboe player and I had notice with great joy the team work from the oboe compartment. Outstanding!
Congratulations!
