Exquisite. So beautiful. If there was just one of the "great" composers I could meet, it would be Bizet. Maybe in heaven.

The only Bizet I'd heard until recently was Carmen, then I heard this on our classical station and it blew me away - so beautiful!

My poor music teacher persevered with the music curriculum like a missionart amongst the savage heathens, amid unforgivable vulgarities, unremitting sexist commentaries and truculent non cooperation, she istroduced us to the wonders of music such as this. The second movement was always my favorite, and then Zoltan Kodallys 'song'. The music won us over in the end. I bought everything she ever played for us. Impossible to exagerate how it enhanced my life. Thanks is so small a word.

@avrstrt my first thought (and i instantly rewinded): if a conductor looks like that on such an entrance, it must go wrong :-) NEVER WATCH THE HORNS!
