Atlanta, as of right now, is not better than the Lakers. Talent-wise, they're as good as the Lakers or Celtics, but there's still something missing. More than likely, I'm older than you are and I've seen the teams then, and the teams now. Those teams I mentioned are just as good as any team now. When someone says Kobe Bryant, I think of someone that can score at will. If we wants 50, he can get it and no one can stop him. Then I think of an above average assist maker, average rebounder, good defender, and that's that. When someone says Lebron James, I think of a person that can score 50 if he wanted to, who is very powerful and explosive, has above average assist capabilities, a good shot blocker, but mediocre defender, a better rebounder than Kobe cuz of his height and hops.

I didnt want to get in on this but.. The reason Lebron lasted 7 games was becaus hes bigger, stronger, & more athletic. He's one of the top 2-3 player that can get in the lane And thats what he did. But mainly because ray allen was n a shooting slump for the entire playoffs as well as 6 of the 7 games vs clevland. When you hav an allstar guard of his caliber(also possibly the greatest shooters of all time)turn it on, it makes boston leathal. He got out of his slump right on time for the finals.

Atlanta, as of right now, is not better than the Lakers. Talent-wise, they're as good as the Lakers or Celtics, but there's still something missing. Boston's Defense had everything to do with Lebrons shooting, but you didn't observe that series correctly, as most Laker fans don't. It wasn't just Lebron shooting poorly. That series was a defensive series. IT's like in football when two defensive teams meet, the score is low. Kinda like San Diego vs Pittsburgh 10 to 11????

Well, I believe in steals, assists and rebounds, yes, was better, but in scoring, hell no. In clutch buckets? Hell no, but what he did on the court? Once again the stats don't lie. One day, someone is going to come along and say this player is better than Kobe, or MJ and I'll say it again, I'll say, "Lets break out the stats and see WHAT THEY ACTUALLY DO ON THE COURT, because I'm not a bandwagoner or popularity contest person. When someone says Kobe Bryant, I think of someone that can score at will. If we wants 50, he can get it and no one can stop him. Then I think of an above average assist maker, average rebounder, good defender, and that's that. When someone says Lebron James, I think of a person that can score 50 if he wanted to, who is very powerful and explosive, has above average assist capabilities, a good shot blocker, but mediocre defender, a better rebounder than Kobe cuz of his height and hops.

Is Lebron as graceful as Kobe? NO. Is he as lethal. By all means, Yes. Cleveland SUCKED before he got there. Now, they are among the top in the NBA. It's not because of Big Z, not because of Wally, not because of anyone but Lebron. Others fill in the gaps. Kobe? Yes, he's lethal and he's all that, but without him, he has a hall of fame coach. A very good 7 footer in Gasou, an up and coming 7 foot post player in Bynum. Great shooters surrounding him.

This year, YES. I'm liking what Cleveland has to offer, but the team LEBRON took to the finals was just mediocre and Lebron just willed them there. All the Spurs had to do is send 3 or 4 guys a Lebron and it was a wrap. Any of Kobe's championship teams had serious threats if they did that to Kobe. Shaq and Kobe Opened the floor up for each other. If you double and triple teamed Kobe, what do you think Shaq would do. Vice versa. That was one of the most awesome 1-2 punches ever.
