Wow, I've been playing 23 years, and here Guthrie lets on to such a simple concept--bending down instead of up for an easier vibrato--that works brilliantly and that I never thought about before. Amazing!

im pretty sure if guthrie was perturbed by his students playing while he was talking he would say something...this actually encourages them to take his words and implement them with their basic knowledge in real time without having to go back and be like "now what'd he say again?" notice how he starts to jam with one of them? its a valuable part of learning the guitar to be able to automatically use those tools in practical scenarios...

@gatluva I was in Guthrie's '07 Guitar Breaks class. All I can say is that he's a good lecturer and a great demonstrator, but he throws so much stuff at you so fast that it leaves you baffled. While great at showing you what is *possible*, you need something like a 1 hour session with Neville to unpack 5min Gurthrie demo. Neville encourages his students to try things out along with him (unplugged). Guthrie's a guru, but Neville's a real teacher.
