maybe you should use coffee flavored Irish cream. i think baileys makes that. coffee cake? in seattle coffee cake is the stuff you get at Starbucks. its really dense, moist stuff, almost like cheesecake, and it comes in little squares.
have you guys ever gotten any recipes with Arizona's Arnold Palmer in it? If you could make a video with one that would be awesome! I'd love to see what you could do with it!
I love coffe cake, I love irish cream, and this was posted on my birthday. So thanks for this wonderful birthday present, especially once I add a splash of coffee liqueuer for a dipped-my-cake-in-my-coffee taste. ;)
@hyperkitty08 good call, coffee cake doesn't actually have coffee in it. I believe the real goal of coffee cake is to accompany coffee--at least that's what I learned growing up with my grandmother. We ALWAYS had coffee cake, but I drank it with tea.
@greenb0y88 we always (well, almost always) do all five back-to-back. But I get more energized as I go through them all. Takes a bit to get fully into it, then it's no holds barred! Like Zeus and Hulk Hogan!
@millerhighlife2112 this is sad, contact Coole Swan and let them know, they read their emails and have always responded to folks, get your voice heard and make the change! Plus, tell them Derrick sent ya :)
I love coffee cake/crumb cake stufff... tho i hate coffee... The only coffee I have ever found i liked was 50% coffee + 50% ground up hazlenut .... SOOO good sadly I had to find out about said mixture at my great grandpas funeral.
oh, and didn't jesus say that ALL of us are sinners? so where the hell does the person who sent that email to EDD get off thinking they're NOT a sinner, and that they're perfect? john 8:7 "All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!" Jesus says dont throw the stone unless you haven't sinned. we're ALL sinners according to Christianity, so how someone thinks its ok to call others sinful as if they aren't themselves is unbelievable, and totally hypocritical.
@burtontoker I've found the only way to not be a sinner is to stop following religion, it has worked well for me :-) I don't mind the occasional "sinner" I do mind the hypocrite though; if you wanna do something, do it, just don't tell me not to :)
@markerandCANSreviews I'm not sure, as I don't live in or near Australia. But, what you should do is go to Pinnacle (or your favorite brand that carries it) facebook page and become vocal about it, go right to the source! And tell them Derrick sent you :)
Hey I keep watching you make all these amazing drinks with pinnacle vodka, I am from Canada and can not get my hands on it to save my life. Any suggestions for cake and whipped vodkas that are not pinnacle?
you guys arent forcing anyone to drink, you're not saying "you need to drink everyday!" all ur doing is showing people how to make drinks. the people who watch your videos to learn how to make drinks are going to drink regardless if they even watched your videos in the first place, so its not like ur causing people to drink, they already wanted to. adults can choose to put whatever they want in their body, whether it be alcohol, tobacco, or even cannabis. people need to mind their own business.
@burtontoker Well there's a lot of people here who want to know what something tastes like before they try it and go to a bar or buy the stuff and not like it. That's a waste of money, and the bartender is not going to give you a refund or another drink if you don't like it, and the store wont take back the bottles either. Lots of videos show you how to make the drinks but not taste them too why this show is different. If you don't like something don't watch it. Can't be that hard to comprehend.
@DragonwriterX exactly, thats another great point. and really, who forces their own religious beliefs down someones throat? who emails someone with a hateful (which isn't very "christian-like") message calling them sinners? really? is that a joke? how dare ANYONE call someone else a "sinner" because they don't conform to that persons own beliefs. according to Christianity, we're ALL sinners, for the person who sent the email to act innocent like they're not a sinner is ridiculous.
@burtontoker oh no doubt, I've never met a religious zealot that has preached something to me that is not themselves a complete hypocrite but I digress. It has happened, not as often as I assumed it would and as we grow I'm sure it will get more frequent.
Have you never met someone that believed they were so right that you should change your entire style of life? Just search for Gay Rights or any other non-conforming religious standard and you'll find plenty ;-)
@DragonwriterX oh, but it is hard for some to comprehend. A select few people believe that the world revolves around them and, if they don't like something, everyone must know and change their life around it. But, those are the vocal minority. I'm sure there are hundreds of people that see our show and say "no thanks, pass" and never come back--silently. Those are the ones I respect the most.
Now, criticism is fine when done constructively, especially when you can learn from it.
you're doing a great job, screw people who are criticizing you guys. this is a fun show that i enjoy watching, if someone has a problem with it they dont have to watch it. and last time i checked jesus drank wine, theres nothing wrong with responsibly consuming alcohol as an adult. those crazy religious fanatics need to jump off a bridge together, there is nothing "evil" about wanting to relax as a hard working adult, thats total bullshit. keep making these vids!
@burtontoker Thanks, we do what we do and we've not changed it for 3-years and, surprisingly, only get a few "you're preaching sins" style responses. I think, in total, two people. I get more trolls telling me I'm an idiot (or bigger words), but they're not really backing any religious group, they're just being a douche.
tried coole swan and im having a hard time with it....kind of hate the concept of tasting a sweet cream and alcohol in the same bottle...its a drink i want to drink fast but the alcohol slows me down and im struggling
