  • whoa. the rest of the world are WAY behind.

  • I am in japan and have a cell phone, those are one they really expensive ones and its not normal to pay for things with your phone.. at least not where i live. i got the least expensive phone, and i can only do about half of what they can do, you can also watch live tv and its a digital camera.. i wanted a nicer phone.. sad day

  • I-PHONE AP?

    I don't think so!

  • the droid(motorolla) does the bar code thing...but not the credit card thingy

  • were can buy a japanese cell phone if in michigan???

  • ...japan

  • ebay

  • thx

  • SUGOI ;)

  • I want one now

  • Is this the future

  • man u no how easy it is for some people to hack in to ur cell phone people in japan hacker must be having hella fun get hella people fone data

  • Some small websites and LOL TELEVISION aren't exactly impressive.

  • thing is its cool and it fucking works :D xd

  • THAT PHONE~~~ I gotta get one of those!!...lets just mve to Japan to get the latest stuff kk

  • and yet another reason why Japan is more advanced than the united states will ever be.

  • Becuase Japanese peoples are bad.ass.

thats all there is to it.

and that phone is just pimp

  • btw that code picture and program what knows what it is. is finnish made not japanese

  • whats this have to do with America at all? its about a freakin cellphone.

  • Cell phone companies in the United States do not have this capability.

  • i want one

  • if youre scared of this shit then youre a pussy. bitch

  • Well, I have the BAR code thing on my phone. xD

  • sweet!!

  • why the fuck would i waste my time scanning an advertisement? I don't care about that shit.

  • you tha king man lol

  • lol funny!

  • LOL its not just advertisement, its for any use of internet website. Its faster to just take a pic of a barcode and go to the website than type the address.

  • that technology is 4 years old in Japan !~!

  • one word.....WHOA!

  • Who needs an iPhone?

  • wow!

    cool!!:D

  • AHH there goes the new world order

  • thats amazing.

  • wow that is really really interesting who would think that (besides God) this world would become how it is today? i mean ir is just very interesting that is pretty much all i can say interasting...

  • hehehe but what happens when your phones battery dies? does this phone work without a battery? i still prefer to pay with cash, without any mobile and without any cards, i feel better when i can hold my money

  • Since it's such a necessity, it becomes a natural instinct to charge your phone when you get home;

Plus with advanced technology like this there are probably cell charging stations, even if it just dies out; i see them around asia.

  • Japan has the most advanced technology in the world ....um better then the iphone ....way way better

  • hmmmm, so the whole world wud be full of bar codes? i dont see the point of that, but the swipe the phone like a credit card is a very good idea

  • ...and I thought iPhone was cool.

  • We are the mobile phone factory, provide OEM/ODM service.for more information please contact me.

  • not fake.. CBC doesn't do fake.

  • CBC is canadian government channel...

    You're the fake...

    YOU FAKE!!!

  • Europe and Asia are like 20 years more advanced with cell phones then north America

  • japan is more advanced than europe on mobiles, europe on the other hand has best quality in the world, a european phone lasts longer than a japanese, if i smash my eriksson in the floor, nothing happens to it (it fell from the 23rd floor and it didnt break, just alot of scratches) if i take a japanese phone and only drop it it will fall apart... i think european and japanese producers should start working together for perfect products

  • Um your Eriksson IS a Japanese phone lol.

  • eriksson is swedish :S

  • well there is a sony ericsson

  • replyed to SlavaSlovanumCZ

  • i agree.

so...yeah what about america? nothing. america produces crappy ugly phones that all basically look the same. the new phones are old, because we're so behind japan in cell phones

  • i actually think a lot of japanese phones tend to look the same...look at SoftBank phones. Pretty yes, but still the same. OR sometimes made with too many features

I like what we receive in america. I don't find much use for the scanner on the phone, in fact it might get annoying when scanning an ad when you have no idea what its about and find out ur not even interested in it

I do however find purchasing items with ur cell phone to be amazingly convenient! That's something we could use c:

  • @veedubbb i don't know about europe but true about asia cuz i bought my very first cellphone from hong kong, when i got to america, tons of my friends were asking me where i bought my phone from..i had the most unique phone while pretty much everybody else had the motorola razor(which was the hottest phone a few years back).i never could figure out why so many ppl were crazy for the razor cuz the camera is shitty as hell. a good camera is imp considering we live in the youtube age.

  • WooooooooW :)

  • Oh hell yes. :D

  • holy shit...

  • god damn this makes

    me feel that in america

    that it kinda sucks here

    not saying its not cool

    just not realy high tech

  • I'm hoping you have to enter some kind of key code in addition to just swiping the phone.

  • That was not a big mac...that has to be a hamburger cuz the kcal are way too low. lol!

When is North America gonna be able to have these high tech gadgets over here? *sigh*...all the cool technology is overseas! (okay, not all...but many that I wish to have. =D)

  • japanese big macs . . . . in other countries the australian big mac is the lowest calories

  • i wonder if they'll get em in the us cuz those are awsome!!

  • Cool

  • Wow.

  • Dependant much? Not gonna lie, that was sweet though. A bit much, but sweet.

  • Wow, that's amazing :)!

  • haha

i love the way she called that tiny ass cheeseburger a big mac.

  • ya not so good if u lose it dumbass

  • lol i was wondering wat those black and whit square thingys were now i no that is pretty cool dam should of got a cell phone from there crud

  • think this sort of technology is useless? what if it created thousands of new jobs, perhaps you might become employed in the weird digital picture industry. Now with your mortgage problems, and your recent layoff weird ass japanese technology seems like a good idea

  • what if we mess with natural cycle of life by giving humans machines that could act as a real organ. than it is a different story

i love technology but just saying

  • oh... yeah... good point.

    Dumbass.

  • Yea i just came back from living in Japan, its true my cell phone was a huge part of my life. I talked, texted, internet, watched tv. I even got train times on it. It was awesome, truly a luxury that we need to catch up on. We dont see the how cell phones can be used to help with more things.

  • well we dont need that we have gps we have ads not cell ads we have credit cards but it is a good idea

  • well not yet we dont but if we keep going the way we are going here things might start to get very confusing about where you are going. But what if you where in a city and you have know idea where to go lol... But your right GPS is not needed......yet..... lol

  • Whoa....

    O.o

  • the swipe credit card on the phone makes identity theft seem wayyy easier to obtain. you can lose your cell phone AND your account. not good.

  • and since its easyto hack a phone you can steal info easily

  • errr.. in Japan though... people are extremely honest, actually "Honorable" - and they dont steal. Its a society thing - they cant disgrace their family, so they dont steal.

  • Yeah I've heard that too.

  • if that sentence made sense, then congrats

  • Search Kris Roebuck and Cell Phone Videos Japan, and you can find more info on what Japanese cell phones do.

  • Just, wow.

  • LOL...wooow...so useless

  • ur face is useless

  • wow, why are we so behind Japan in that stuff?

  • because we don't need it.

  • I WANT IT

  • JAPAN IS SO MUTHA PIMPIN HAAAAH TECH

  • thats actually the phone i wanted to buy and use in Canada...lol

  • try ebay

  • Nutritional content of a big mac. Isn't that an oxymoron?

  • haha

  • ROFL

why would u want to know that lol

    ITS CRAP! DONT EAT IT!

thats all the nutritional content you need d:

  • lawl

  • thats really awesome.

what will they think of next?

  • im moving to japan i mean who wouldent

  • ya man they've got like everything

  • the world's gone crazy

  • great.. not companies/governments can keep track of all our transactions/actions

  • well not bad. cuz the technology in japan is amazing by now.

  • Japanese people have some of the longest work days in the world (with some American work days seeming like vacations in comparison). Most weekends are only one day a week and, like most people, the Japanese tend to bring work home with them. They aren't lazy, they are time conscious.

  • I feel like a sucker... but honestly, there would be so much fraud here in the states!

  • Not only what if he loses his phone, who the hell is gonna walk around taking pictures of everything just to watch a movie trailer? The typical movie poster is more than enough, and if its not, we can only look for the trailer online

  • What if they had the bar code ON the poster/ad? So that if someone is interested they can scan it and read/see more.

  • Yes, you dont take a photo, actually you scan it... the phones all have Bar Code Readers, but also the technology you see there is called QR CODEs... so It reads QR CODES - which can be anything from a web-site address, a phone number, a paragraph, to a photograph encoded. 90% of phones can make QR Codes in Japan.

  • Great but what if he lose his phone and someone uses it to go shopping and max it out

  • There are probably safety precautions similar to a credit or debit card in place, such as a signature or password required.

  • No, actually there is no password - you just swipe it, and it deducts the amount off the IC card (smart card).

  • No theres a finger print scanner on the back of the phone.

  • just makes us less responsible

  • yup

  • if this technology comes to america, its gonna be fraud everywhere.

japan vs. us. you see my point.

  • Wtf 0.o we don't have technology like that around here..lol

  • 4 words: Son Of A Bitch...

  • thats INTENSE

  • wow this is crazy!

  • he has a p905i O_O

  • i have it

  • I want that phone

  • this isnt that hi tech i found a ringtone site that you had to take a pic of that on your cell a couple years ago

  • oh, this was just submitted lol. Anyways, pretty cool.

  • @coby858 - it was a trailer for a show that was showing tonight about the subject idiot. Maybe read the description, or at least look at the channel name, seeing as it is a television network, before making stupid comments?
