Ahh, we have tons of squirrels around our house, but then again we live by the woods, my mom has a garden all around the house, and squirrels don't really mess with them, but then my dad keeps up with putting out the birdseed and sunflower seeds for them, so they don't really bother with tearing up the roots of our flowers or anything. However, armadillos love digging up anything to get some worms.
He's been digging holes in the flowerbed out front, but the flowers are already dead. They were half dead when we moved in. Hopefully he wont eat the new flowers that we plan on planting next year, but he probably will!
You really must name him.. Looks like he going to be around awhile..And it's good that he has a long tail..this only means..that he is a well balanced squirrel! LOL!
My dog chased the squirrel through the backyard earlier, and it ran up the tree. Now, every time I let her outside, she's gonna go look up in the tree. I guess it's a good thing she can't climb, otherwise she'd probably run up the tree and try to get it!
that squirrel has one of the longest tails. that critter along with about 4 or 5 of his brothers would make a great pot of squirrel and dumplins. that's just the way us country folks roll.
however i agree he needs a name. i vote for leonard the country squirrel!
You need to have a "name my squirrel contest"! Haha! He's so cute and has a very long tail. All the squirrels that visit my yard are missing part of their tails from the hawks that have tried to grab them. Some have nothing but a nub. I should show them sometime, it's kinda weird. BTW - you must have a great camera. This video was very sharp and clear.
I only have a mid-priced camera, but I encode it at a really high bitrate. That's probably why it looks so clear. I've noticed how much better my videos look now, since YouTube has the high quality option.
