Microsoft(aka Xbox 360) will always have the upper hadn as its from a huge company, sony does not make as much crap, My girlfriend owns a playstation 3 and it was rather painful to even watch, I have always stuck with 360's despite the errors, which only was my harddrive failing, Second sony uses computer parts just like microsoft, the hard drives are both of the same caliber.

Xbox 360 has better games and cooler things for less.

Dude you can get HDMI cables for $5 bucks... Not like its a big deal... And Xbox 360 consoles have had HDMI since the first Elite came out. Also you can put whatever hard drive you want to in a PS3... All you have to do is take out the old one and stick a new one in it of whatever size you choose.

This one is a much better deal if you want two controllers, a huge hard drive and a MW2. But if all you want is a simple xbox to play with yourself and you dont plan on downloading anything or installing a bunch of games the $199 model is all you need. So I guess it all depends on what you plan on doing.

Well it's built into the Xbox if you make a new Live name... If you already have one then it doesnt count for you. When I first got my xbox I think I made like 6 different names just so I could play for 6 month for free.

Well I dont play any of those games anyhow... I think I play COD online and thats about it. And I dont think there is to much to the future of the Blu-Ray discs holding games for the xbox. They already have a lot of games coming to download from XBL. I have a feeling the future will bring them to just download, No need for the disc. It's also cheaper and easier that way.

Just ordered this, my old 360 ( bough back in 2005 ) stopped breathing few weeks ago : /

Was 329€ ( 488 USD ) & 29€ ( 43 USD ) for a HDMI cable.

Not that bad considering a 'normal' elite is 242€, the game is 65€ & an extra controller is 35-40€ meaning that buying all of this seperately would cost 343€ and you'd still have a smaller harddrive.

As for looks it doesn't look _that_ cool. I would rather have had the Resident Evil red one :P
