I've noticed though that you use just your pointer for a lot of the song aside from the REALLY quick bits. Also the part at 2:56-3:01 sounds out of key - sounds too high and like the chord is off a little.
i have the atk 700, ive tried mud vane on it before, but to be honest i wouldn't even tune more than a half step down, not a long enough scale on it to keep the strings from being floppy. I love the ATK's
Well... it's not that hard, but it's very possible that you'll get some notes higher and some lower when you tune by ear.
Just tune your guitar as always. Start from the G string, but instead of pressing the 5th fret on your D string, press the 3rd fret. When you'll get it, than do the same with the D and A string. Than, to tune your E string to C, you'll need to tune it to the 7th fret of your A string (it should already be a G string).
Hope this will help and won't get you confused. : )
and most favourite would be 7sloth? :D I mean hes the best, style and evrything :D most of mudvayne basscover lookers know him i quess :/ he has the best ones :D but anyways this was good too :) but i play it differently from the F note that beginning or something :) Lol albass was talking already bout 7sloth. well nwm.. :D hes the best :)
Hahah. Well, You're right. ^^ Probably everyone who plays Mudvayne knows him. I was impressed by his 'Dig' cover and it helped me a lot. : ) He's got a lot of potential and he sure does feel what he plays. : )
aaah yea i was thinkin first.. who the hell is andrewbattah.. thats a stupidasslame name.. but then i checked out and was like "OMFG THAT COOL AWESOME GUY!" :D so i cant pretty much compare those too just because andrew just has 2 vids but both are totally awesome. just like u said. but 7sloth is better imo cause he does voice covers too :D
Nice too bro, good sound once again! I'll wait to see "Not Falling" because it's my favorite song of Mudvayne and i'll upload it when i have a good handycam. falconnstrike told ya, look some videos of a guy with nickname 7sloth, he plays bass really good, he has a lot of Mudvayne's covers and a good EQ, too. Greetings and respect once again! =]
I still have to play 'Not falling' a little bit more. Haven't played it for two months or so. I've seen him a long time ago. Because of him I wanted to play Mudvayne's songs. ^^ He really is a good player. : )
good job. i still have no idea whether the chorus has a slap pop part...i prefer to play it using slap technique from one tab but i dont think its right ..haha
No, never tried those two. But soon I'll upload Not Falling, Dig or Death Blooms. I'm learning 'Happy?' too. They have awesome basslines. Fucking epic.
do you use drhi 50 strings ryan uses as well you sound great man check out this guy named 7sloth he taught me alot of wat i learned to play that is mudvayne
Nieźle! Fajny ten ATK! Momentami nie wyrabiasz rytmicznie i troche fałszujesz, ale jak poćwiczysz jeszcze trochę to powinno być coraz lepiej :) Powodzenia i pozdrawiam!
what others have less, you have more. that's too much bass

Love Ryan Martini's tone.
Owed much to his Warwick bass but still, real quality bass growl with pronounced highs.
KongoXIIV 3 years ago
Yeah. The dude's great.
I'd like to play the way he does. Here I had some shitty tone. I didn't use a mic. Just a direct plug to the pc through my effect.
soadek1 3 years ago
Yeah, I dunno how he does it. He has a thin tone but with growl too...It's odd...His Warwick has to be to blame but...There's more than that.
I prefere his tone when they were in drop-B on LD50 though.
