it's this thing called "masking" you take iron man from the 2008 Iron Man movie, and you literally place him in X-Men 3. You can do other movies of course too. it's very complicated and extremely time consuming.

okay well the thing is called masking, also known as rotoscoping. you put a bunch of pinpoints around the character/area you wanna use, and you place another video track underneath it. the object you already masked will now appear on the new video track, so i placed iron man inside X-3 using this. (it's very very complex as well)

Trust me, it's a good thing. And now you're at 988. I think you've gotten a strong rep here at YouTube. All I suggest that, when you make the next trailer, try looking elsewhere besides IGN for trailers, because I've used IGN clips for my one "MUA" teaser I did before, and someone told me not to use trailers with "watermarks" (trailers with the IGN logo on the bottom of the screen). You may have to get Vegas Movie Studio 9.0 Platinum, because you won't have to put up with audio delays.

But you have a diverse array of heroes to use: Hercules (use Lou Ferrigno's portrayal from some movie in the 70's, because it looks just like him, or see cris2fear's trailer to find out what I mean), Nitro (Taylor Lautner from "Twilight"), Maria Hill (Mariska Hartigay from "Law & Order" looks somewhat like her), maybe some Thunderbolts (Bullseye, Doc Ock, Green Goblin, Lady Deathstrike, Venom), and Luke Cage (Tyrese Gibson clips from "Waist Deep").

OK, so, at the start, lots of audio overlapping one other, works, well enough, but gets chaotic. Some weird footage in the background, popping in and out, not sure what that was... What was victor's head? why was it floating? Same goes with Iron Man's video? why was it floating and jittering all over? Masking for most things are good, you really need to add some feather... its to rough and square around the edge. Add feather, and it would have looked perfect. most things flowed nicely. GJ!

=P cmon lucas, you of all people should understand that! okay if you've read civil war, tony stark gives peter parker a suit to use. this suit isn't powered by an arc reactor. but, since there is no such suit in the marvel movie universe I put an Arc reactor on top of spider-man to signify that stark gave it to him. i'm glad you watched it as well =)

Good trailer, but the audio dropped out at 0:22 seconds. And I don't think you should have the audio of the "MUA 2" trailer" and Robert Kelly clashing, because it's hard to hear both.

But I did like the special effects you've used. And at 1:30, is that supposed to be Spider-Man's new suit that Stark gave Spidey? I assume that you got Adobe After Effects/CS3.

Also, good shot of Captain America laying dead at 1:48.

All in all, very good trailer.

hm, I can tell the talking apart with robert kelly but I can understand what you're saying.

The spidey thing, (which I'm very happy you noticed) was the suit Tony gave to peter. Obviously I couldn't make it red and yellow like stark's so I just used the symbiote suit with stark's arc in the middle. And that was made with Sony Vegas, not Adobe.

I really wanted to include Cap somehow, so I got a dead picture and Wolverine/Storm standing over him.
