I read somewhere that each season will be released on DVD every 6 months...season one was released the 25th of August.

Thanks, I see that now. What confused me was that Mel Harris now looks completely different and Polly Draper lost some of the gruffness in her voice. The other two hardly changed at all.

Did you know that the first season of Thirtysomething was released on 08/25/2009? It's available at Amazon and is complete with the original music and even commentaries!! It's wonderful!
