Bunch of kids in here. Both car's had a normal idle, thats probably the most important fact in this. Since that charger isn't build so balls out that it has to feather the gas to keep it from stalling out due to over-sized cams, it would not be doing a wheelie like that. That supra, if built right for the terms of this movie, should be pulling 1200whp, with 3 shots of nitrous, you're looking at 1500whp ea time. Supra should have left him a long time ago. @VYFTW10 It is possible to spin the tyres with the front wheels off the ground as the torque would make the front end come up then the wheels lose traction but when that happens the front wouldn't stay in the air like that. So in answer to your question yes it's possible but not the way they do it in the film that's a little bit over the top but great to watch!

The Charger does a wheelie and smokes the tires at the same time, That Charger or any other car for that matter would never smoke the tires while in a wheel stand.. the reason everybody that likes chargers hate this video is cause if you look closely the supra was first and the supra hit the ground first meaning the supra won. now i fuckin love chargers and supras pretty much all cars all around but i dont think people should be raggin on cars just because of what they look like or where they come from its your opinion so even if you dont like the car respect the money and time people have put in to it

@bkslayerz actuelly its more possible than you think now let me explain for all you uneduacated ones. the 2jz in that supra is capable of well over 1000 hp and the charger only has 900 with a blower. the supra is also lighter and has an engine that can match the horse power of the big block in the charger. in this case the charger would have the supra by about a second but remember this is a movie which means nothing here is real

I really like this movie but the thing that justs bugs me... The Charger does a wheelie and smokes the tires at the same time, That Charger or any other car for that matter would never smoke the tires while in a wheel stand.. Smoking the tires means you are losing traction... Being able to do a wheelie means you are getting plenty of traction... Sorry, but you just don't get both at once.

@Chevypower265 I thought the same thing. wheel spin = loss of traction, means no wheelie. Now we have to remember this is a move made by a guy who does not follow the rules on nature. But....if you look up old drag racing you can find a rail dragster doing the exact same thing, smoking the tires while pulling a wheelie. It's not impossible. Just unrealistic in this instance.

people, THE ENGINE WAS A SMALL BLOCK CHEVY! the engine in the garage was the only hemi ever used in the movie and it came from a boatand wasn't even used.!anytime the charger drove, it was the chevy small block. the car did a wheelie from a hydralic arm that was underneath of it.and the smoke? a smoke machine in the quarter panel. i like the movie, but don't try to say that the engine was a hemi when it was a chevy small block, its disgrace to the hemi.

@dmarley1996 The Charger really did do the wheelie, they actually edited out the wheelie bars that are actually on the car, you can that on a few different sites that have all kinda of info about the movie.
