I was at all three shows in '78 at the Palladium Lizzy and BOC.First nite there was abn accident and the show stayed late. They threw a comedian in and he wasn't too well received.Eric showed up towards the end of Lizzy's set and repeated a line from one of Lizzy's songs "Baby baby baby ..." LOL I remember it like it was yesterday.
eric, i have seen boc 27 times and you always put on a great show, day on the green 1981 oakland stadium was my favorite show, last year in oregon, i love when yyou shoved that guy off stage during godzilla, you are the man, see you in tacoma for #28, chris, the seattle guy
I go way back Eric. I even have 2nd row home movies of BOC at the Palladium Sept 1978. Youguys and Thin Lizzy. Interesting stuff. Your bus broke down that night.
Lizzy was rock solid; very consistent and crowd pleasing. The films I took are pretty cool, especially Phil looking right at me in the 2nd row. As for BOC, they were leaning towards a more commercial audience and whose set was hardly from 1975-76. But a smaller venue like the Palladium was good for their sound rather than an arena. That night, BOC used Lizzy;s gear because their bus broke down and they had to ditch it to get to the show.
