  • I believe in Jesus, but I don't think I'd want one of these dolls for a kid. If it quoted scripture, emoted love and taught... GREAT! But this sounds more like brainwashing; telling a child what he/she believes and feels. Are they hoping to get to them impression-ably or subliminally? I think things like this scare some ppl away from religion if they don't understand and it puts some off hearing about it. Ppl can be won better hearing about the love & understanding it's a choice to accept him.

  • He said "donation of 4,000 fucking jesus dolls " O_o ?

  • JESUS IS ALIVE

  • i love jesus

as he said "if you do not belive in yourselves you cannot belive in me"

    i thinks its a gospel

    MAKE MORE JESUS TOYS!!!!!!!

  • all of u be quiet jesus christ is the best person in da world how can u betrey him like dat look at all of da things he gave up for us . u wouldnt even be here if it wasnt for him.. duhhh be smart ppl

  • wow....I WANT 1 OF THOSE! lmfao

  • I do have one

  • A toy Jesus that commands that they believe in him. Wow. That's fucked up.

  • Fuck Religion! It's Full of shit!!!

  • fuck you

  • haha take that christianity!!

  • Guess I'll throw out all these Buddha dolls then. They really meditate! Just watch, they can sit still for hours on end.

  • Toys for Tots doesn't support one religion over another, but any religion's followers could sell out send them 4000 proselytizer dolls.

  • brain washing starts at early age.

  • send 'em to me, I'll circuit bend them

  • hehehehehehehehe a toy that tells the bible

as if there wasn't enough of my gramma doing this at home!

  • I'm an Atheist but I don't see that much of a problem, maybe throw in some boxing nuns or Submissive Jesus or a stuffed FSM to make it fair.

  • The problem is that TFT has an obligation to the parents to not expose their children to any ideology which might be subversive to their own. So if a muslim kid got a talking jesus, the TFT people would be involved in a scandal. The talking jesus manufacturers, I think, were really trying to make a point about how the idea of secularism is being forced on children..or that's how the news report was framed.

  • doesn't a charity have the right to be secular if they want? I think the company made these stupid dolls a d they wouldn't sell so they unloaded them on a charity for a tax break.. problem is the toys are offensive by being so religious.

fantastic stuff really. I'm donating to toys for tots next year because of this.
