Do you also get the textures into unity? If theres something i can do to make it easier let me know. I'll make a in depth tutorial this weekend, showing the general workflow
I haven`t really tried importing with textures yet, but I`ll do some experimenting with this pretty soon. Gotta finish some stuff before GDC first, but I`m really looking forward to playing more with ghostTown after that :)
@roaldpoald if you convert the object to a editable mesh or polly after you create it, you can select each block, bake the texture of each block and do that a couple times(you can do the entire thing in but you'll lose a lot of detail, and same with one by one with the buildings, you'll have like 40 images but it will be as high res as possible) and then you'll have a baked texture, and you'll have the lighting from 3ds max with the bake, i think looks nicer than unity's lighting(combine the 2)
