You know, usually subs don't bother me. I just ignore them. But one thing I've noticed in this AMV is that the subs enhance the meaning of the song because they seem to be just what the song is describing.

you need so much more fucking effects!!! but as timing and the amv itself, take out the subs except appropriate ones. i still rate this 4.8/5 that is rare to be so generous, because i like making amvs that take like 3 weeks or more. but this takes the cake. great job

@lepidine to true. what did they use? movie maker or Vegas or photo shop or adobe effects or adobe power point? i can tell you from watching this amv, that she/he used movie maker (mediocre experience with it) and did not know how to zoom in on clips (hint the subtitles and offset screen pixels) plus there are minimal effects at best. therefore i belive that they are just barely using power point with video clips, or movie maker. (movie maker is a lor easier).

@tja17736 i can tell what they used as well. believe it or not, i am a video editor, and i do have sufficient experience. if you're done talking down to me, then may i just say that perhaps the editor didn't have the experience, knowledge, or tools necessary. is that a bad thing? no. it's simple and i quite enjoyed it. just because the effects are minimal does not mean it's any better or worse, just different. personally, all the sony vegas "look at my effects!" videos bother me much more.

@lepidine to many effects kills. to less effects killz even more because you dont have anything to marvel at even if the video suck (not saying this one did). i wasnt talking down to you. i was agreeing and saying that they must have been new to movie maker and/or not make that many videos. this video is a little to simple for me, but its the intent and effort that counts i guess. anyway, im a video editor also, and i believe that there are many types of videos. this is just a simple one.

This is a nice amv. Has a slight Yaoi feel to it but if you know the story you know it is Bromance:P lol. I think the power should have been used somehow for him:( i did not want anyone to die and finally he was all nice and cool at the end. But at least he was happy.

Wow.. this is amazing. I had heard this song before, and my friend and I wanted to know what it was called, so we looked it up here on Youtube, and we found this... I have to say well done with this AMV, the song and scenes flowed and fitted very well and so did the lip sync with the lyrics for certain parts. The only nitpick I might have was that the subs pulls my attention away from the AMV for a bit cause I kept reading them whenever they popped up, the AMV would have much more of an impact if you used the raws. But overall it really is a good AMV and I really enjoyed watching it and would gladly rewatch it.

I'm frustrated with the subs, too, but unfortunately I don't have access to the raws. ;_; Someday I'd like to remaster it with clean footage, though. (But funnily enough, the sing-along-style subs at the very beginning go with the rhythm of the music! XD)
