@MillyVanillification well, you often hit things in the ground, and once you get the pile down so far, you may not be able to pull it back out. plus, this video, they aren't really using string lines to line the pile up right, which tells me they don't much care abouth they're trade.

It look diffrent from Thailand's pile driving, this one use hydraulic hammer, but in Thailand here they use manual crane hammer. Nice video!
