That is excellent my friend. I am 26 and just started practicing drum lessons about 2 months ago, and this song is kind of my goal. I want to be able to play hella fast if you know what I mean. I am almost there, which I'm happy about. But I can't maintain that kind of speed for more than, oh say 10 seconds. I'll get there :)

Don't try to pressure yourself too much just to play fast though, because speed is not everything.

If you're just starting out, then i would focus on getting timing perfect and just learning basic stuff for the moment. But it's up to you ;)
