Just watched an episode of Scrubs on abc entitled "My Last Words". This actor Glynn Turman, whom I don't remember ever seeing before, did'nt know his name, so impressed me with his performance in this stupid television sitcom that I had to find out more about him. So thank you to The Actors Lounge for giving me my first insight to this fine actor. J

He was one of the stars in the endearing Cooley High movie from 1975, as well as the lead actor in JD's Revenge -- also 1970's. You may also remember him from the sitcom A Different World where he played a character name Colonel Taylor.

Wow!!! i'm excited to see Mr. Turman on you tube. I just finished watch Cooley high and everytime i do, i get so pissed at the end when cochese gets beat up amd preach finds him. I want to jump through the screen on robert and the other guy. I guess if i feel that way, they did there job. I well up everytime and grave site scene and i'm freak'n 41.lol I have always wanted to meet Glynn and Larence to tell them this. I guess this is my way. I was told the cooley high was a true story, is it?
