  • PERFECT.

  • i dont subscribe often, but after watching this (the 3rd vid of yours I've watched) I'm making the subscription official!! SOLID SOLID SOLID

  • How did you learn that fingerpicking style????

  • FUCKING AMAZING! DUDE YOU ROCK! I have seen Dire Straits and been VIP and that was EXACTLY to evry note like Mark Knopfler!

  • the sound is sooooooo good

  • Beautiful sound!

  • Hello Ingo :-) nice sound and playing.

what model is the les paul you are playing?

  • have u the tabs for full song please

  • @TheBoofdog

Sorry , I don't use tabs at all, this solo is just a mixture of improvisation and all kinds of MK licks I heard here or there

  • FUNTASTIC Git.sound.!!!!! Five Stars.

    Thanks for this Video.

How are your Delay - settings for this Song?

  • sooo relaxing. I could listen to this in the background all day.

  • good job !

  • Thanks for showing the amp settings. I noticed the Treble is backed way down. These MM's do tend to be a bit bright. I play mine through an old Marshall 4x10 1965B cab sometimes, it gives it much more lows and mids. I Also use the treble sparingly. Great amp.

  • Very, very good! And I'm very skeptical for those folks that think they could cover Mark. But you are very good...

  • it''s very rare for someone hwo is not MK himself too give me goosebumbs (1:52)

  • like it much ,great song ,good interpretation, well done , lovely superbe

  • Nice

  • amazing man

  • very nice

  • I put this on a favorite list 6 times.

Then I hit play all and get about 15 minutes of this solo. ;)

    Thanks

  • Excellent man !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  • sorry for bothering you but what kind of morley volume pedal is that and what volume pedal would you recommend ? =]

  • @jebas1322

That's an old vintage Morley pedal, I love them because they hardly ever fail.

  • Sweet, man. You get it. Soulful.

  • cool i got a HD-130 Reverb head. it has a great clean tone.

  • yeah, all those MM amps are nice

  • hi ingo can you tell me what amps for his clean tone mark used on the alchemy tour at all thanks

  • that was a mesa boogie

  • @IngoRaven any idea which model mesa ingo?

  • @IngoRaven have found out that it was the mark11B mesa heads that he used on alchemy tour

  • @IngoRaven can you tell me your delay settings please ingo

  • Love that amp. I'm thinking of searching for that amp on ebay, it sounds sublime.

  • Rated 5***s for the playing but why not just send the guy the backing track ?

  • It's a stock wiring in your guitar ?

Any mod on the pots or caps ?

  • All stock, I only replaced the black plastic parts with white ones

  • Nice vid and very good playing Ingo !

Can you give me the setting knobs on the guitar please.

    Thanks from France.

  • see my blog article about this video (URL in video description)

  • I really enjoyed watching this. I like your other video's as well.

Thanks fot sharing your settings. It helped me out since I was struggling with my sound.

  • Excellent tone in my opinion. What gauge string are you using in this video?

  • Thanks. Regular 10s (10-46)

  • Great playing

    Perfect

  • of course it is not perfect but that was not my point.

My point was that giving only 1 star seems strange.

  • Annoying: I got a rating of 5.0 after 12 ratings, after the 13th I'm down to 4.69 which means the last was only one star. Please rate the *quality* of a video, don't rate "competitors" down, for whatever reason !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Way to go Ingo!

I always enjoy and appreciate your vids. Was surprised to see an analog delay since everything these days seems to be digital. What a great song to cover too!

Thanks for sharing it... Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you... :)

  • The analog MXR is really unique, never heard something that sounds like this, not even the Boss DM2. Merry Christmas :)

  • Cool! You always talk like you're only interested in the 1978-'79 DS period, but this is really great! Keep up the good work!

  • To me that early Dire Straits stuff is really cool but I love all of his stuff. Knopfler rulez :)

  • Beautifully played, Ingo, and the cut aways to the, amp, mic, volume and effects pedal are great little teaching tools, nice job!

  • thanks :)

  • I produced this backing track myself, and it is not for sale, but there is one by Total Acuracy (it is a book with a CD)

  • @IngoRaven whats ur mxr delay settings?

  • Look at the photo in the video, I took it right after recording.

  • Really nice

  • wow :)

  • Simply Perfect.
