@twlvmp17 to have the braid outside in, remember to keep the middle piece out of your three sections of hair underneath the rest. for example, take the left piece out of ur three sections and put it over the middle. then put the right piece over the left. this is the simple pattern of a french braid. watch this again to show u how to do a waterfall correctly now knowing this tip. HOPE IT HELPED <3

@glitterandgrease123 sometimes it's easier to work with hair when it's straight then curly. I perm my hair sometimes and I find that when I want to do something with my hair when it's curly it's more a pain in the butt! Lol. She prolly straightens it to make it easier and faster.

@twlvmp17 I had the same problem. What I did was trying to think about what exactly you do when braiding, so stop braiding automatically (so without really thinking about it), but figure out the movements you make. Then you'll be able to consciously change the way you're braiding. And if necessary, you can always look up how to do a braid, so you know the 'theory'.
