Its too bad Andy didn't do movies. I mean when he did the wrestling thing people actually thought he was serious. Thats why he got all that negative media attention. People pretty much forgot that he was really an actor. He just got into character so well. And Jerry Lawler's a badass for conspiring with him to make it happen. Andy the Villain coming out pissing people off by wresting women.......... then Jerry the Hero defeating the mouthy twirp.

I only just found out about this a few weeks back and thanks to popculturestu's channel I was able to catch up on almost the entire 'feud' and I have to say even though I'm no "Dumb hick wrastlin' fan" (quoting Andy before I get lynched!) It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Kudos to all involved, it really was well done and no other "Wrastlin' feud" has ever come close to the hilarity.

RIP Andy.

I admire Jerry Lawler that much more because he never drank and never smoked.Does anybody have any idea how extremely difficult that is in the pro wrestling business?Every pro wrestling hater also doesn't realize that while both Kaufman & Lawler were "acting"on David Letterman that night,they had the whole audience convinced there was a genuine hatred between them.

Jerry is truely the nicest guy in wrestling so many times in working for the Spectrum in Philly I have talked with him and taken pictures with him and he is just the nicest person.

Thanks for uploading this importat footage. I, like many others wondered if it was real for years and found out when everybody else did that it wasnt(In the movie"Man on the Moon"). I think it's cool too that William Apter got the ball rolling on this famous feud. Apter was the editor for World Of Wrestling magazine which was without a doubt the best wrestling magazine around while it lasted.
