@coltsblackgirl Its often classed as Shounen-ai... And Shounen. It was published in the Shounen magazine "GFantasy" (known for titles such as "Kuroshitsuji" "Pandora Hearts" And "Nabari no Oo" wich also have BL undertones) Its by naked ape who also have written many BL Naruto doujinshis.

Even though the Switch OVA came out after the Death Note anime, the Switch manga came out before the Death Note manga. So who's copying who? They are both great series in my opinion.

Switch is awesome and really different than Death Note. It's one of my very favorite series. ~<3

I finished the anime today. I'm really confused on it. I'm going to watch the last episode again to see if I missed something. All in all, it kept my attention and made me drop my fork while I was eating. xD. This is NOTHING like Death Note aside from the fact about cops and spying.

if you look at the artists history that made both kai and light, you'll see that in nearlly all of his passed anime's he's had someone who looks like light as a main charcter somewhere in the story... its probably that that face type holds some significants for him, prehaps its a metiphor for reincarnation or a faceless evil in all the alternate worlds... or maybe its just easy for him to draw the world may never know

This was such a good manga, and I'm sad that there are only two OAVs. I'm sure the anime would have been amazing. But I don't see the resemblence between this and Death Note (which also was amazing) besides the fact that the animation styles are similar (i.e. Hal looks like Light, etc.)

And this show is /nothing/ like death note. It's about police and drugs while deathnote is about a smart kid who finds a notebook that kills people and comes along with a shinigami. They both might be crazy, but light and kai are very different in character, too.

The artwork in the manga is really good, and I just found out awhile ago that Saki Otoh & Nakamura Tomomi write Naruto and Death Note yaoi doujinshi. I had a feelling when I read a certain doujin awhile back that the art looked similar. LOL XD

Well... I watched the first episode and it didn't seem to be ANYTHING like the manga (I'm talking about the episode where he works in a green house or whatever, for anyone else who'se reading this), but the main storyline is about everyone who works in the NCD branch, and all of the confusion caused by a phantom drug called "Switch" that killed everyone who was involved in the case. I find it really good, but that's just me. ;-)

Actually SWITCH came out in 2002, and Death Note was first shown in December 2003. You can draw your own conclusions from that.

I SCREAMED when I saw this. I bought the first three mangas a few months earlier and fell in love with it instantly. I also picked up the mangas because I recognized NAKED APE as creators of many SasuNaru doujinshi. I really hope they don't leave out the bits of actual shounen-ai concept. It was hysterical when Kai caught Hal busting a move on Uki in volume three. Thank you soooo much for uploading this!

No. This manga is drawn by Naked Ape, the author of Dolls. I was shocked to see one of the guys looks like Yagami Light, while he definitely doesn't in the manga.
