Agreed - not sure why he is/was so underrated. I thought that the one good thing that would come from his unfortunate passing is that he would finally get the praise and recognition that he so richly deserves. Nope - I have been at Gov't Mule and ABB shows and talked to people who DID NOT KNOW WHO ALLEN WOODY IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was fortunate to have seen the original incarnation of this band - as evidenced here they were scary good. Woody was (IMO) the best rock bassist ever- great lead playing playing here, too. Tears well up in my eyes watching this - Woody you were the best!!!!!!!!
