Know what he thought beforehand? He thought I was crazy, and that I had lost my mind entirely... Hell, he wasn't interested at all to know about MLP. Then, he agreed to watch the first episode... To me, this song sounds as if it's written from the perspective of two characters.

It's clear that Dash is the "main" singer, but some of the lyrics don't make as much sense from her perspective (notably "give me a smidge of confidence," "give me a dash of loyalty," and "rainbows here one minute and then their gone / they remind me ... of me and you"). Each sound like they're from the perspective of this second pony. But who is it? Well, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out! :3

I think the lyrics in "Loyalty" aren't as great as the others like "I'll fly Higher", being a little awkward or corny in some places, but the actual singing and the instrument parts are first rate. Definitely worth it over all.
