Look. I've seen enough of comments of giving the AR shit! It's a good gun. Against the BR it kills faster in some cases, slower in others. In my opinion, I believe the AR and BR combo is a very good combo and is very reliable. Against other guns, if it doesn't kill faster, it's only slow to kill by not even a second! (minus the 1 hit kill weapons like the energy sword and rocket launcher, but who cares about the power weapon whores!)

I think people don't give the AR enough credit its kill time was only a few seconds off in either direction of all the other weapons in the game albeit given the other weapons ability's at different ranges but when put on even playing ground the AR is always the middle man and I like that :)

This one hell of a welcome comparison vid. I never realised how weak the AR is. We can say, though, that the SMG and brute spiker are of almost no use on middle ranges, which is the AR's strong point. And those plasma rifles must be there for fun! But I do see, as I always said, that plasma weapons are more effective against armour systems while bullets are stronger against flesh.

And now you see that the BR is a pro weapon because its maximum effectiveness is high, but takes skill to unlock.

Everyone has their own default weapon. Some might be rifles, while others might be heavy guns, for example, my friends default weapon would be the Sniper Rifle or BR (He's in MLG btw) and my are heavy weapons and explosives like miniguns,rocket launchers, and explosives. So dont be saying,"The Plasma Rifle sucks, find a better weapon" cause every gun in the game was created for at least one reason like the plasma pistol its overcharge can disable vehicles. Useful for taking out enemy air support

When I played Halo I HATED the BR.... So annoying hearing it over and over again.... I always used the AR and SMG, cause what makes Halo different from other FPS, you can do so much more to kill some one in close combat (jumping over and what not).

however, I'd say a headshot-enables weapon like dual pistols, as they kill fast w/ or w/out headshots, and can still be dual wielded. they're also fairly accurate.

thing is dual pistols kill faster with just bullets, but they're less common, so it'd be easier to find a BR. it really depends on how good you are with grenades...

Or double plasma rifles. Drain his shield in a matter of seconds and melee. Grenades you can dodge sometimes. But if a Guy with a BR screws up and the other person has Pistols. There pretty much dead. Dealing with the pistol can kill in one hit in the head. I got a Overkill with the pistol the other day :)

Basicly because it probably requires the most aiming skills as, unlike most weapons, the sentinel beam has no aim help, it's about as hard to hit an enemy with sentinel beam as an BR trying to hit an ally. It also basicly sucks because it doesn't really do that high amount of damage, has no zoom and overheats easily enough. It also has a low amount of ammo. Hope it's explained better now :P
