  • Can you tell me the name of this song? It's magical.

  • @buuterflyandi The song is "Comptine d'un autre été" composed by Yann Tiersen.

  • Lovely Video. I LOVE Her Majesty!

    GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

  • Bless the both of them!! Their love has stood the test of time I hope and pray that I will be able to celebrate my 61st wedding date.

PS The Queen looks well and strong, she is not going anywhere no time soon. She will probably out live her son Charles, when it is his time to reign he will be an old ass.

  • Such nice people said way too little, I have, God Bless them both always.

  • What a wonderful film, I'm just sorry it has taken me so long to come across it! I'm a British expat living in the States and I have never appreciated our monarchy so much since I left England. You often have to do without something to really appreciate its true worth and value. Here's to many more years of happy marriage for our wonderful Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.

  • Beautiful video, But it must be hard waliking two steps behind your wife but I see that the love is in their eyes then and now. God Save Our Beautiful Queen and Prince Consort

  • Nicely said JanboJay.

She has been the most marvelous, constant monarch you could wish for.

    Thanks for a lovely film.

  • Neither am I a raving monachist or a rabid Republican but I consider our present Monarch is one of the finest history will ever record.

Like the " Best of British " before her, she has presided over a changing climate.

In my opinion she is just FAB0

  • Really sweet melange of pics celebrating the 61st Wedding Anniversary of HM The Queen & HRH Prince Philip. Thanks for posting, it is appreciated! Peace.

  • Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is highly respected in my country.

    LONG LIVE THE QUEEN !!!

  • I'm confused why is she Qeen Elizabeth but her husband is Prince Phillip? Shouldn't he be King?

  • It's an image thing. A King is traditionally seen as above a Queen. This means that if Her Majesty chose to make him King consort, some would see it as submitting to him, even if she still reigned. Hence our female monarchs have either stayed unmarried (Queen Elizabeth I) or their husbands become *Prince* consort (Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip). Some have ruled jointly with a King (Queen Mary II and technically Mary I too).

  • @elijahendtre Of course he couldn't become King! He's the Queen's husband, child of a foreign prince (Andrew of Greece and Denmark) and a british lady, Lady Mountbatten! Both his parents are close relatives of the British Royal Family, but had no "direct" access to the Throne in hereditary terms. Queen Elisabeth and Prince Philip just happen to have married! The Queen is the Queen, because she was the eldest child and righteous heir to the late King George VI! Philip is her husband, that's why!

  • @elijahendtre If you mean, that a Queen's husband should automatically be "King", one can say, that that's not the use in British History! There were some Kings/Queens reigning together, being both "Kings/Queens", f.e., Queen Mary II & William III! But these were mere exceptions due to exceptional historical circumstances! Prince Albert, Queen Victoria's husband, wasn't King either! But there are other traditions! In Portugal a Queen's consort becomes "King"(-consort) when the heir is born!

  • A great video. I love it. Very, very nice.

    GOD SAVE THE QUEEN.

  • She loved him to bits when they were just married and it looks like this hasn't changed much over the years.

  • Beautiful!

God Save Her Majesty the Queen!

  • Ah, that last photograph is beautiful. Bless them.

  • Yes I think that look shared between them tells all of the story! Love divine!

  • A great video, I love it.

    Long live the Queen!!!

  • Love it. Very nice...

    GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!!

  • Thank you!

  • Lovely vid. :)

    GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!
