A very well thought-out combination of images to compliment Captain Calvert's masterpiece. Real Starfighters, Lemmy, Nik, Robert from the early seventies, and some snippets of the Hawks at Ipswich in '84. Nice.

This is the first time i've seen these comments and I just want to say that I think madebutante made a good point. Early Roxy Music was awesome, just listen to their 'Ladytron' or 'Remake/Remodel' and you will hear Hawkwind in there.

Our friend wasn't insulting anyone, least of all the bands.

Not everyone you see on YouTube talks bollocks,

@rp61wasinnocentok Well, Eno was on this LP. The treated-voice sound effect where Robert sings "MAAA-CHIIIINE" is Eno all the way. Unfortunately, Eno's influence kind of messed up the Lucky Leif LP - which wasn't destined for the greatness of Capt Lockheed anyway, but supposedly Eno talked Calvert out of doing the LP his own way, convincing him that the spoken parts were too boring.
