I'll be traveling to Zurich Switzerland this July gonna celebrate the 1st of August their i hear its the national Swiss day. I 've already been to Zurich its a great city was there for Spring last year....i wanna move there to live when i finish my studies.

Wonderful city and country...I am planning on moving there in the next couple of years. Can anyone tell me a little bit about the lifestyle and working there. I am from Canada by the way, 18 years old, and I will get my degree in pediatric nursing in a few years, I was wondering how is the job outlook for this occupation over there...or just registered nursing in general?? Advice would be greatly appreciated :)

I was born in zurich and lived there for quite a long time (i live in Italy now)... anyway, life there is great and I recomend it to any one. Nurses and doctors are payed well... I recomend you learn how to speak swiss german 'cos that's the language everybody speaks (Writing is in german of course). Just get your head down, study, learn the language and you'll do great! (by the way night life in zurich is good too)

I live 18 km out of the city in the agglomeration but in a other "provinz"(Kanton) and the peoples from zurich think i live in a Farmer village.
