I have to agree, Bondi is very run down and needs million spending on it to bring it up to date. I was ther in 2007, so maybe its been improved since then.

Bondi beach is an absolute dump! It is backed by a long grim concrete wall and the "promenade" is a row of decrepit shops and zero bars/cafes save for a mcdonalds! Everyone said it was crap before I went. Sydney may be the best city in Australia(not diffucult) but dont even bother with bondi beach. Its SHIT!

I disagree. Bondi Beach is far from crap and has definitely improved of late. I really enjoy it :)

Australia must be a great country, I want to visit it one day.

My best friend is living in sydney and he told me the most relaxed people on the planet are in Australia. I love the city and beach thing. My friend told me no umbrellas on the beach, I didnt believe him but after seeing your vid , I do.

Bondi...great place..I used to drink in the pubs there when I was about 16..but dont tell anyone lol..lovely beach..weather and people..I miss it..thanks for the memories...hugs
