Osho reminds us that death is the ONLY CERTAIN phenomenon in life. Life is always a wondrous mystery, so enjoy, knowing that we are always flowing joyously towards the ocean.
People tend to be depressed when seeing how nature has cruel ways, for example, animals killing other to survive, like a lion killing an antilope. But what they don't see is that the antilope has lived his life entirely without opposition, he lived as an antilope lives, no guilt, no insatisfaction, no living in the past or the future, the antilope is living fully for it follows it's nature, therefore he welcomes death, according to this meditation video. Also he has no mind so he dies more free.
what depresses me how many living beings including trees, animals, birds, fish and many more including a man himself is denied a right to live by other humans!
call me crazy, but the antelope tries to run away and screams as its guts are being ripped out... i dont think it is necessarily like "this is great!" lol
You know I thought the same exact thing. I was thinking about what it would be like to be in his presence, and how our relationship would be.
I also wondered if he would offend me in any way to throw me off, or if there would be no interaction at all.
A part of me wishes I could have met him, and yet a part of me is glad that I didn't. His purpose was to help create a space within me(us) where we could spend time with ourselves. He did just that for me, and I appreciate him very much.

Saints like Osho sir don't have death because they know the truth, that they aren't the body but the spirit.

@Salocin27 no, "denied a right to live" pay attention to the words! If he wanted to say killed he would have said so. Duh!

I also would have loved to meet him face to face. I wonder if it is accurate to say "he died".
I heard the following is engraved on his gravestone:
***
NEVER BORN
NEVER DIED
ONLY VISITED THIS PLANET EARTH
BETWEEN DEC 11 1931- JAN 19 1990
***
greetings to all
