  • P3 ...Who inflicted pain on Job, God or Satan? (Job 1:12, 2:6 / Job 42:11). Satan is nothing more than a tool in the hand of God and yet, he is accountable for his evil and so are we!

"One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists HIS will?" Rom 9:19. The bible uses another analogy of clay, God makes us into whatever kind of vessel he wants and yet Paul answers... "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?'" Answer: NO!

  • P2..his plans and purpose, the bible is clear, he is able to use evil men, good men and yes, Satan! Read Isaiah 10, the King of Assyria is set on attacking Israel, little does he know that it is GOD's plan to punish Israel using him and then he will punish the King for doing evil! Go figure! Yes, SATAN blinds the gentiles but by WHOSE will? GOD's! This is the paradox of scripture that this man does not understand! Who incited David to take a census, God or Satan?(2 Sam 24:1/1 Chron 21:1)

  • He is equivocating on the issue: If we are talking about God's sovereignty, then NOTHING happens apart from his will: "Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?" (Lam 3) I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: MY PURPOSE WILL STAND, and I will do all that I please. (Isa 46:10). However, if we are talking about HOW God accomplishes (See P 2

  • The answer to his question regarding Satan not being bound before the cross is , Yes you are correct. So, what was Satan doing to prevent the gospel? "In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them." 2 Cor 4:4. But, when Christ came, "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.."Isa 9:2. The gospel IS the light that "frees" prisoners (Luke 4:18)

  • 1st Thessalonians 2:18 Paul said to the Thessalonians that he would have come unto them once and again; but Satan hindered us.

  • @RobertBurleson Kinda hard to do if Satan in currently bound!

  • @310 He equivocating on terms. Bound means exactly what the bible says "That he might deceive the nations (ethnos/gentiles).." The non elect are still in darkness because God has not commanded his light (gospel) to shine in there hearts (2 Cor 4:4,6). But, he cannot prevent the gospel from freeing those on whom God shines his light. He can even afflict believers but not hinder their salvation. Why?, Jesus has prayed for his own (John 17) Otherwise, Satan would sift us like wheat (Luke 22:31)

  • Of course our coworkers and neighbors can still not believe, there will always be more unbelievers (...few there be that find it (salvation)). This is not an oxymoron. If a judge issues a "restraining" order, is the spouse not "restrained?" From what, All movement? No, from making contact with his spouse! YES,Satan is "bound" but from what? ALL movement/deception? NO, from blinding God's elect! Yes, Satan will again send lying wonders that "..IF IT WERE POSSIBLE would deceived the elect."

  • Is there video's from him about eschatology and a study of it?

  • In what WAY???? What in the world did Jesus do fool!! He defeated sin... I would consider that a pretty big binding if I where the king of lies... He is not bond by "chains" per say.. but still bound by the defeating of sin. there I told you in what way

  • Many godly, brothers and sisters in Christ have been/are Amil.

It's simply a case where either one reads Rev.19-20 chronologically (which, lets' face it, Revelation doesn't always require ), or whether one reads Rev.20 as a recapitulation of the whole Christian era.

I think that Rev.19 is clearly speaking of the 2nd Advent; and that the millennium follows the 2nd Advent (or is begun by it).

Therefore, I am premil. But not dispensational premil. (like Jim).

  • I usually refrain from disliking videos. However, McClarty puts me in such a place that I'm okay with it.

  • McClarty completely misrepresents the Amil position and/or doesn't understand it. And doing it with that pompous, self-righteous voice makes this video utterly unbearable to listen to and virtually pointless. Congratulations on failing.

  • @rorshakks Sorry but he gave a perfectly biblical case for why amillenialism is UNbiblical, especially with regard to the ludicrous idea that Satan is bound, but somehow active. They make this claim only only because they HAD to say something! .

  • @310revelation The point is Satan can't fully deceive the nations. Just go back to your Kirk Cameron theology - you're boring.

  • @rorshakks The problem with amillenialists is that they regulate 90% of bible prophecy to the junk pile simply because they cannot explain it, because they refuse to take it the way it was meant to be taken: Literally! So, congratulations for failing miserably at accurately dividing the word of truth

  • @310revelation No you take it literalistically. We accept prophecy. See you clearly don't understand the position.

  • @rorshakks Bible prophecy is ALWAYS interpreted literally. It was in the past and it happened exactly that way. Why should it be any different for future events? You guys can't even explain 90% of what Bible prophecy even says. This method renders vast amounts of scripture meaningless because you can't use it!

  • @310revelation Bible prophecy is always interpreted literally? So there is no imagery or figurative language involved in prophecy? Why then did Daniel need an interpretation to be given to him of his visions in Dn. 7-12? In Rv. 22:2 does that refer to a literal tree that grows on bot sides of a literal river?

And I normally like McClarty, but his understanding of the position seems pretty weak. He sets up a strawman version of the position and then beats it down. I've come to expect more.

  • @rorshakks And BTW, if you’re going to make arrogant statements such as “McClarty completely misrepresents the Amil position and/or doesn't understand it. And doing it with that pompous, self-righteous voice” while not even providing a solid biblical refutation yourself than please don’t respond : )

  • @310revelation There's not enough room and you wouldn't get it anyway. Trading verses does nothing. I stand by my ripping.

  • @310revelation And BTW, I don't need solid biblical refutation to state my opinion that his voice sounds pompous. His sarcastic tone IS incredibly annoying.
