  • Do you know if african black soap gets rid of black acne spots over time ?

  • I have a question!

Can you buy African Black soap from African/Caribbean grocery stores?

  • @littleviolagirl :: It depends on the store and it's inventory. Definitely call or check to see if they carry it in your area.

  • Can white people use this soap?

  • @OldSchool710 lol

  • I really enjoyed watching your video. I love listening to your voice. I'm trying to make a switch to a more natural skin care regimen. The best part of the video was after you cleansed your face and proceeded to apply jojoba oil. I was going to ask you what kind of moisturizer you would use and then I kept watching and ta-da! :) I'm definitely going to buy myself a pound of this stuff. Thanks!

  • I like your idea of using a Sephora brush. Keep up the good work... I might try that because what I'm using now is too abrasive for my face.. Ewwww.. Yuck? Also, Queen Helene products r fabulous. Esp. for people of color; however I used that same exact grape seed exfoliant peel and it made my skin break out..

  • Would adding water to the soap introduce bacteria and mold into it? Please reply, I'm buying an 8 oz of this and I'd like to try the liquid type.

  • @MeggieXOXOXO :: Only add water to small amounts at a time, not the entire bag. When I say small I mean a piece the size of a quarter (coin) or two.

  • @glamazini

Question. How do I store the little piece that you break off to use for a bath/face washing? Do i leave it out or do I put it in a plastic zip lock bag? Thanks

  • @sexe757 :: In a tiny gladware container

  • And to the men....authentic black soap also helps with razor bumps...be plus!

  • Nice Video :)

  • Thanks for the video very helpful :-) What song is that on the end of the vid I like it.

  • For anyone who is having a burning sensation, you are not suppose to use a washcloth or anything that can exfoliate your skin. Black Soap by itself is a highly acidic exfoliate and is suppose to be used by itself.

  • YOU CAN ALSO GET IT AT ANY LOCAL HAIR SUPPLY STORE OR AFRICAN SUPPLY STORE. BUT BE CAUTIONS OF WHAT YOU BUY.

  • does this work for guys?

  • @jclaypoole1 it works for everyone.oil skin, regular skin, and dry skin. i have dry skin when i used it it dried my face up for like..2 days but then my face became regular.

  • Hi, great video! I am in the uk and was wondering if you could buy this for me(ill send you the money ofcourse) and send it to me? I am really desperate for it and cant get any. Much appreciated#! x

  • @21africanqueen go to any african store where they sell african food etc..u can pick a large amount for super cheap! most of them sell the real kind in the paper bag

  • I am soooo hyped to try the Black African soap! I have the exact jojoba oil you have, so I cant wait to use them together. Thanks for the video it was super helpful :)

  • My auntie just got back from Africa and she bought me some black soap I'm so happy ! I really want to see some improvement in my skin!

  • @smileysocali It's really good and it doesn't take 5 weeks to see improvement.

  • "You don't wanna be that person. You wanna be fabulous all over." lolol. I loved that.

  • I was curious about trying out the arbonne scrub but I could not find one that says exfoliating scrub, is there a different name by chance?

  • thank you for the tips

  • @Bgarcia1219: After a couple of uses, I began diluting it by putting pieces of the soap into a bottle with some water and the burning sensation went away. The soap is wonderful to use as a daily cleaning routine.

  • For all of you out there that want the natural black soap, just look for a store with African products and they will have it. I just bought 2 today for $5 a piece...

  • I've been subbed to you I don't know for how long but I don't know how did I miss this video? I just bought some black soap since I've heard how great it is for the prevention of acne and to get rid of dark spots. I also use the OOO moisturizer after washing but do you find it necessary to use a toner after using the black soap and before the moisturizer? Great video !

  • @Lean6J :: I don't use a toner

  • thank you for this video. i just bought the african black soap today in the solid (chunky) form and wasn't sure what to do with it, lol. but now i know i can mix it with oils or just water and use it in a liquid form. that brush is great, i used to use one before and it really makes cleaning the face easier :) ok, i go wash my face now with my new african black soap :O ...i will watch out for that burning thing and report my results

  • where can i get a cheap version of that brush from?

  • the black soap is natural and it is a must have if you dont have it.love it!!!

  • @ donker32..... Thank You

  • I massage coconut oil on my face and neck before washing with the African black soap. The results are baby soft skin. :-) I started using the coconut oil first because I found the soap too drying for my taste.

  • thanks for this i will be def be getting this! i tried using proactive but it didn't work well. :( so i'll be trying this! :D

  • do the black soap make you lighter

  • u look gd,you use warm water or cold water wash your face??

  • @carol02086 it's better to wash your face with cooler water

  • hi!!

do u use the brush everytime u wash ur face?

    thanks!!

  • Awesome video! This helped alot.

  • @glanzibi. - I don't have it water and yes it hs soften up.

  • Hey I just purchased the black soap from coastalscents but I can't get it to dissolve. It's still solid after sitting a week. Any suggestions?

  • @adhenderson6715 :: do you have water on it? It should at minimum be soft even if it's not totally liquidy yet.

  • @adhenderson6715 you have to add water to it for it to dissolve

  • glamazini dont worry about people with the negative comments. thank you for your vids!!! keep them coming...some folks are just uuuuunnnhappy with who they are and just put those bad feelings off on others...shake 'em OFF! :)

  • I went and bought 2 of those face brushes for my daughter and me. Love it!! I went back today and got one for my goddaughter (she's in college). I'm going to send her some black soap as well. These brushes will make great little Christmas gifts. Thanks so much for the recommendation.

  • I use the black soap as well. It's very nice.. I love it...face feel very clean and fresh! Im out right now need to go buy some! I usally use vaseline on my face no other moisturizers

  • Hi Glamazini...I was just wondering if you ever experienced a burning sensation when you first started using the African Black Soap? The reason I ask is because I ordered some African Black Soap but with my first use it felt like my skin was on fire.

  • @temptinty The first time I ever used black soap my face burned. I believe it's because it was pulling out all the impurities. I never had it happen again.

  • @temptinty OMG, It burned the crap out of me too! I've been using it for about 5 months now. Initially I put it on and immediately wash it off. It has really made a difference! Now I put it on, brush my teeth, and then wash it off.

  • @temptinty :: sorry, just saw this. I don't remember feeling a burning when i first used it.

  • @temptinty : i had the burning / tingling sensation at the beginning and i have been using it for quite a while now. its cuz ur skin is still getting used to it. the soap is amazing. BUT if it doesnt go away then maybe the soap is not for u.

  • @temptinty My son who has eczema complains of burning and itching when he first started using it, as I did too. If I run out and stop using it then come back it will itch and sting a lil, and I get my soap from Nasabb so I think that's something that most people encounter with African Black Soap. It works so well for my acne and his eczema and we even wash our hair with it

  • @temptinty I just started using it today and it was a little irritating on me too did the irritation go away on you?

  • @temptinty i've experienced the burning sensation on my face..i believe it has something to do with the soap not being ph balanced. the soap may be too strong for your skin. I would suggest that you liquidfy it in distilled or spring water. Then check that ph balance. The ph balance of should be around 4.5 to 5.5

  • 'U want to be fabulous all over' I luv it! Lol. I've been researching about ABS and I must say I'm gonna try it and purchase the face brush. I have very oily skin. Thanks for sharing.

  • Roshini, I just have to say a huge "THANK U" for this skin care tip! Where have I been all this time without a face brush! Its incredible, the difference is extraordinary and I have gotten so many compliments on my skin:) I ordered black soap and am still waiting on it to arrive, but using the brush in the meantime with my neutrogena bar has already changed my life.

  • Thank you for sharing!! I've ordered some after researching and finding out about how great this soap is for eczema and oily skin, I can't wait for it to arrive. But my question is kind of off base, but do you remember the brand of that satin cap you have on with the wrapped elastic. I've been searching for one for so long b/c the elastic dries out my hairline. If you do fabulous, if not thanks for all the amazing advice you share so freely! <3

  • Thank you for this video, I enjoyed it and did not notice you "talking too much" lol! Thanks for sharing!

  • For the people who says she talks to much, you can always fast forward the vid to what you want to see!

  • that facial brush seems pretty cool. i'm going to have to try that out.

  • You talk too much just show us already, 3 minutes and 44 seconds into the video and you still haven't demonstrated the process, CHATTY KATTY.

  • @TheSadie88 :: i find it hilarious that you commented twice with the same thing to tell me I talk too much. irony is funny.

  • @glamazini you shouldn't even bother to respond to such stupidity

  • @TheSadie88 you aren't hostage. You can a) fast forward or b)click that little red x in the top corner. What a way to treat someone who goes through so much to post these videos for us.

    Keep it movin ini!!!

  • you talk too much just show us already, 3 minutes and 44 seconds into the video and you still haven't demonstrated the process, CHATTY KATTY.l

  • you talk too much, just show us already

  • Had to go out and get the brush...it's wonderful!!

  • where did you the face brush

  • @hunniebeetwnmylegz83 :: the face brush is from Sephora

  • Why do you mix in the Jojoba oil?

  • @jemy1415 :: The jojoba oil is to amp up the moisture retention in the dry winter months.

  • That was very helpful!! I think im going to buy that sephora face scrub.

  • I gotta get that scrub brush from Sephora. Does the black soap come in a solid bar form? I think I would like it like that. Thanks for sharing.

  • yep, errymorning me and my ABS! I wash my hair with it 2

  • yep, errymorning me and my ABS!

  • We used this as an all over body wash growing up and my skin was always wonderful. I moved to the US several years ago to attend college and have gone through all brands of body washes, soaps, facial cleansers etc but just couldn't get my skin right. Now I beg my mum to send me this stuff. Same with Shea butter. All the things I took for granted lol. There's nothing like the good old natural stuff that was originally formulated for black skin. I love it. I love your videos. keep 'em coming:)

  • Have you ever used the mint julep mask by Queen Helene??

  • I bought he silicone cleansing pad from sephora about a month ago, and I love it... I should try the brush too....

  • going to get that brush tomorrow... $5... yep, going to get it :)

  • I love the raw African soap. I live in CT so go Harlem, NY and get a huge block for about eight bucks. It has really give me a glowing complexion :)and your right do not get in your eye!!!

  • LOL@you wanna be fabulous all over.

  • Thanks .....great vid, I recently started using the ABS ( week to be exacted). I also purchased the brush back when you announce your new fav item. I just love the affect these item have had on my skin. I really don't have any skin issues just trying to keep healthy skin. My normal skin regiment is wash with ABS followed by Witch Hazel( natural astringent) and final step Aubrey Organics-Blue Green Algae with Grape Seed Extract Moisturizer

  • i love the oil of olay daily moisturizer,,and i may need to try the sephora face complexion brush,,thanx for sharing this

  • If you like that face brush, you'll love the Clarisonic Skincare Brush. It is expensive but it works wonders!!!

  • "You don't want to do that, you want to be fabulous all over." LOL!!!

  • I have veeeery sensitive skin just abut anything breaks me out....do you its good for sensitive skin???

  • I have seen the black soap and was afraid to try. I will be incorporating it in my routine from now on.

  • black soap is the truth. I'v been using it for about 3yrs now, and i hardly get spots since using it. Its amazing at getting rid of black marks. Wen i went home (grenada) the cheeky mosquitos decided to feast on my face (yes my face!) wen they healed it left about 4 dark spots on the side of my face. Now, u wudnt tell if i had them! : ) completely gone! gotta luv ABS!!

  • Great vid... I love using African Black Soap. Every since I saw your first vid about using the face brush with the African Black Soap I have been using one to wash my face. I pretty much do what you do except I will often use a bit of oil (sunflower or jojoba) to remove eye makeup prior to washing my face.

  • @qochemist :: I have done the oil to remove eye make up thing (and I also have eye make up remover somewhere) but I can actually get it off with just the soap of late so woohoo!

  • @glamazini - That's great... I need to work on my technique because I cannot get off all the eyeliner or mascara.... especially the kohl liners

  • Thanks. This was very helpful!

  • Thank you for sharing. I'm going to try the black soap and the facial brush. I'm over forty and I still get break outs.

  • @cutiece66 I've been using African Black Soap for almost 1 year now and I love it! I'm 44 and have been asked how do I keep my skin looking so good by those that are way younger than me.

  • thx for this video! I really think I"ll be gettting that sephora brush!

  • I have dry skin so the black soap made my skin really dry.....I've actually just recently switched to the OCM method. I'm going to wait after a few months before I do a review on that.

  • @blueottlisa :: I have oily skin so I haven't noticed the drying. I'll look out for your OCM method review (what is that?)

  • @glamazini sorry....Oil Cleansing Method :)

  • Brilliant!!! This is the first time I've seen your channel!!! Where on earth have I been?!?!? LOL. This is a great vid! I had to go through a few of your other vids too and you are a hoot! I am about to hit SUBSCRIBE! Keep up the great work. xoxo

  • @GirlsLoveYourCurls :: LOL! girl i don't know where you been but you're here now, welcome! :D

  • black soap is the best. you might want to put a drop of aloe vera in it because its alkaline. 8 p.h your skin is acidic. you can get a better deal at sunaroma.com. for 11 dollars you can get one as big as your face ! lol

  • @BEAUTIFULHAIR3 :: thanks, i'll try adding aloe and check out sunaroma.com.

  • great video Ini!

  • I really love it for removing makeup! I have dry skin and I do find using it helps keep your skin clear. Love your routine by the way!
