Why do people teach their kids this way? Harmlessly teaching your kids that teasing a lion is okay and telling your child that he is just playing and completely harmless teaches bad ethics. I have more respect for the parents that constantly remind their kids of how dangerous animals can be rather than the ones that think they are cute and harmless. I like to hear 'No honey, playing with him would be dangerous because he could kill you' rather than ' Oh how cute! Meow at the kitty!' .

Much cooler to go to africa and visit them in THEIR home.... did it one time.... a zoo is NOTHING compared to follow lions for a day... and see them hunt down a weakened buffalo. That was damn awesome.
@Bloodmane1987 This isn't exactly a zoo. It's the San Diego Wild Animal Park/Safari Park; all the habitats are much larger to resemble their homes in Africa.
so I've been looking at all these videos of lions at the zoo on youtube, and it seems that the lions are attracted to little kids.I assume they see them as easy prey.Kinda scary to be looking at something through the glass that wants to eat you.
