@stacey5789 when you're engaged, you can get married whenever you can, so you use your cellphone to throw a party at... and when choosing what type of party(destination party, birthday party) choose wedding part, invite everyone you want and wait for the party to start, then you flirt with your fiancee and pick "get married" then everyone will start cheering and you'll get married :)

My sims are getting married at the beach but it says I have to make preparations but you can't get the party items onto community lots so how do I do it?

@tamemeifyoucan you can buy picnic baskets, an ipod/portable music player or the fire pit, drag it to your sims inventory and take the sims to the beach, then, drag the items from the inventory to where you want them to be at the beach....and remember to put them back when you leave so u won't loose them lol x) hope that helped =]
