I've watched all the performances of the "Attic" shows and every one of them has Rachel's friend Mikey acting like some stoned out hippy at a Grateful Dead show. It's distracting and totally inappropriate. Who fans simply don't act like that. Also, during many of the conversations among them, Mikey doesn't seem to be that familiar with Pete's music. He's a lifelong friend of Rachel's and he seems like a nice guy, but he did not belong there week after week. He contributed nothing.

Yes, Yes, and Yes. HOWEVER, he represents an excellent counterpoint to Pete's pompousness, and Rachel's HOT Rockstar Girlfriend Act. Without him the show would not have been half what it was. I think Pete understands this, as an artitst. In one show he gifts Mikey with a book about ALT gyuitar tunings. He he got hours of his 15 minutes, with a legend. Rachel isn't familiar w/all of Pete's music, something someone dissed him for. Who can be.

Much prefer the chord change on "...looking for you [change] -oo" that's borrowed from the demo Lifehouse version but not on Who's Next. Feels uplifting and optimistic when he does it this way. The way he rips with fast rhythms is by 'holding' the pick so it 'floats' in his hand. According to him in the Pinball Wizard Tube interview '05, not many can do it.
