This is a terrible interpretation. The animated character looks nothing like David, the expressions are boring as there are only 4 mouths that the animator uses. The hair is some anime bullshit. The eyes go through the same loop even when they're supposed to be closed in the video.

It's rated poorly because the animation does nothing. Okay, it shows him in that "high" state, floating above the city...but so much more could have been done animation wise. And in reality, watching the kid in the actual movie is more entertaining than watching this animation do the same thing over and over for 2 minutes.
